The heavens opened during the night. The thunder rolled. The dog hates thunder and around 1am I felt the wet nose nudging me, I could have got up but I just told her to jump in, she didn't need a second invitation! Thunder Buddies for life.....

Leaving my home phone alone is my aim today. I spent a total of 3 hours arguing with virgin media yesterday due to my wireless keeps dropping out. Being passed from pillar to post and over a few different continents doesn't help matters. They won't send an engineer if the wired is working fine as that is their main service and when they run their tests (after they've told me to reboot the hub as that solves the problem temporarily) their data shows the connection is ok. Eventually got a new one to be delivered as I'm sure the hub itself is faulty, but when the new one arrives I hope it solves it. On the good side at least with them sending a new one out it is some admittance of fault which means I can cancel if I wish to without the massive dis-connection fee due to me only renewing the contract 8 months ago and it being a 24 month contract.

Morning all, it's the last day of our holiday today, tomorrow we head off home.

Looking forward to a days fishing I've just got to hope that the spot I have researched isn't being used when I get there.

I hope everyone had recovered from last nights exiting game, it's a shame that we couldn't hold out but there were plenty of positives.
