Perhaps he was offered the job but decided to turn it down after attending the interview and being told the terms of the appointment.

Perhaps Fullarton was the only one on the short list who was prepared to accept the job.

Nobody will know outside of the circle between boardroom and manager.

Yet, I feel he would have been a decent call - yet he hasn't got the job and it is what it is. I don't think we can be unfair on Jamie, we need to give him time and for him to get a grasp on what he has to do. Hopefully his No2. will be a huge help, as without it could be very difficult for him.

1: Wanted more than £5 an hour

2: Had too much experience

3: Didn't want to work under Branston

4: Doesn't like owners interring with the team

5: Didn't promise the world in his interview

6: Could spell his own name

Pick one, two, or most probably all of them.

Probably the truth of the matter

He wouldn't work with people he knows are clowns. Wanted his dad as Chief Scout as he trusts his opinion, not the opinion of someone who signs players in the back of a dvd posted on his own website for the sole purpose of furthering said business.

Utter boll0cks the whole situation is, just how much more money do the club need to lose from its support base before they provide what people are willing to pay for???

its speculation tho isnt it?

i feel it will be down to the 'budget' and probably wanting money set aside for next season. i think we should have gone for someone who would have fighted for promotion, i see this as being a trial type manager and that is risky stuff.
