I honestly felt the way the game was going we could get back in the game but I must add, when they pulled level there was a long spell I felt I could have been wrong. I'm pleased Notts went on to win, the players and JF shown character today. The latter deserving credit for his brave decision! Well done Notts COYP!!

A ray of sunshine through a cloud of negativity. Badly needed 3 points. Playoffs still a possibility. Slim chance but a chance all the same.

good three points, i thought we had lost them.

That felt very much like a Moniz home performance, a bit reminiscent of the Luton win at home.

Glad to see a bit more attacking intent, whether that is because Hartlepool were terrible, I don't know. I think it's probably unfair to judge JF on one home game so looking forward to Saturday! COYP!

Well, that sounded an interesting game! I must admit that I enjoyed David Jackson's commentary, we had a better idea as to what was actually happening on the field!

The one thing that made me shout at the radio was when we were back to 2-2 and struggling, he decided to make a straight swap substitution, rather than changing it around, but fair do's we got the win we and the manager needed, it saved a major online meltdown!

glad we won but we should never of allowed them to get one let alone 2 they sounded dire we sounded like we should of been 4-0 up at half time

We now sit comfortably in mid-table......obviously JF is setting up his away teams to correctly grab points, albeit from lower-placed teams.

The two big questions from the next three games are:

1) Will he set up to play a more expansive game in front of the ML faithful?

2) How will we fare against the next 3 teams, who are all in the top 10 teams in the division?

After last night, confidence should be sky-high........and some of the pressure has been lifted from JF.....I look forward to Saturday....COYP.

Just watched the highlights.. It would appear we were lucky to get the win. Carroll's positioning for their first, along with Adams losing his man...the second conceded as Hewitt was caught , when his positioning was too narrow. Banton's first half miss costly , if we were 3 up, life would have been more comfortable. Paynters miss just before Stead's winner proved the gods were on our side.
