Danish billionaire

Haven't heard anything. Do tell?

It's not me! The current owners are rudely refusing to accept pocket fluff as payment for the club.

If Danes did football clubs...........it wouldnt be us.!!!!!!!!!

I heard awhile back that a Russian businessman was interested in buying Notts, someone who had worked with one of Mr Trew's former companies. Then at a game, I was told by two that a billionaire was interested in buying Notts - yet the nationality changed to Greek. I listen but keep my head down, I don't really like reporting on rumours without seeing a local source or someone else publish things because the odd time I have mentioned 'rumours' - it was taken a gospel.

Now it seems to be a Danish millionaire, so I just feel like it's Chinese whispers right now.

I would add if I don't get jumped on, I would prefer someone like Alan Hardy - a fan. Someone who understands our view points.

This story has me concerned that it could continue what we have previously seen, which may resort in further turmoil and abuse. It's not a great time, I mean the bickering amongst our fans is a big enough joke but anything more - yikes!! Mr Trew's stepped down, either this was decided before the protest or with that partly in mind but the truth is it's the right decision.

We simply need to move forward and try a new leadership.

I don't blame Ray, I think Charlie McParland summed things up well (when he give his polite and carefully thought interview).

no one knows who it is but people think it's andres povlsen I belive he is called he has a thing for buying English things.

Not saying it's him for fact but that's the name people think he's intrested apparently

I typed it into Google and I found this from the Evening Post: http://www.nottinghampost.com/Danish-billionaire-interested-buying-Notts-County/story-28829707-detail/story.html

It's all very interesting but as we all know piles of money don't necessarily buy happiness or success - just look at us and billionare-owned Villa.

Funny that billionaires are suddenly queuing up to buy us ;)

And Trew remain in charge? No thanks. We need to move on.

I don't understand how we get sold for £1 (because of the debts at the time).....accrue even more debt and fall further down the league table......but now we have a queue of people trying to buy us for £8 to £10 million??

Am I missing something?

I thought that was strange too, surely someone willing to put money into the club would want to take control themselves. Unless they want RT to remain during a transition period only. I take it with a big pinch of salt anyway.

Ludo Mobil closed their doors in 2012, so at least we're safe from them.

I'd happily take villas situation over us a championship team a ground of 45,000 get easily 20-30,000 a week and will go back up next year

Villa are a far, far bigger club than us though. Them dropping into the Championship is like us being in League Two.

If I was this danish investor looking to buy a football club, i would be wary of wasting money. Look at what happened with the ladbrokes purchase 30 plus players and watch it achieve nothing.

Agreed. If 20 mil takes you down a division and still sinking, he'll need 500mil to get promoted.
