Would be a great addition, a quality  left sided defender for league 2, defence sorted!

Still need a 6ft 3" centre half to complete the list. We seem to have signed a lot of 6 footers for the back four, but still missing that towering centre half for the physical battles.

NZK he's held talks with Southend according to Phil brown Chesterfield were linked with a move to him to.

A few Shrewsbury fans think he's already agreed terms and is havin a medical in few days his goal scoring record ain't half bad either.

I imagine we may get a winger or two and hope either Bowery or forte is the striker or someone with ability

Leigh Curtis mentioned him saying notts are interested in him

I need to do some home work as the name isn't ringing any bells, so I can't comment on his quality but I will add - his shirt may become interesting.

Can't Dickinson play at CB? We do definitely still need at least another one though.

He can and so can Duffy, but they are both full backs that can play at centre back, we still haven't signed an out and out centre half.

I'm sure Dickinson said he preferred playing centre half and Duffy is the same, then we gave tootle who can play left or right back, so we definitely need another centre half but we could play;

Hewitt, duffy, dicko, Tootle

Duffy is a bit too short to play centre half, he's not even 6 foot. That wouldn't be so much of an issue as long as there is a much taller one alongside him, as long as that much taller one isn't Hollis! [emoji15]

@ohstanleyaborah Hewitt needs to up his game, was god awful last season, if he doesn't up his game it's Tootle at right back and Audel at left back for me. The defence already looks a lot better on paper than it did last season...Sprockel ring any bells? ????????

He's just signed for Moniz!

Well I'm sure both wildin and Jordan Richards can play as full backs so there's will be lots of competition for places, hopefully!

You're kidding?!? Why would Moniz sign him again after seeing just how bad he was last season?

Audel may find himself as backup this year, but I would have him ahead of Hollis in the pecking order and might do OK in a structured defence, not the fluid let them walk straight through it non defence of last year.

agree with you on this he became very complacent imo.

Raises questions on Ricardo's objectiveness. I was hoping Ricardo would have identified good players from the opposition teams in Polish and Austrian leagues. It just seems to me, he just brings his "buddies" be it in Hungary, Notts and now Eindhoven

if you can read the game see the danger before it happens good postional sense you don't have to be tall.

Holis is 6tf3 or 6.4 and hardly is good if you have a footballing brain you can play anywhere

If you want high balls dropping into your box all the time then go with two shortish centre halves. This is league 2 after all, show me a short centre half with those qualities you list and he isn't playing at this standard.

Lionel Messi 5ft5 or maybe 5ft6 didn't he out jump Rio in a champions league game 4 years back or more to score the winner ?

Its all about the leap not the height izale 6ft how many headers as he won all season ?

duffy has expierence of defending in a higher league against better strikers.

Carl Dickinson can also play Centre back he's only 6ft not much bigger then Duffy I don't agree with this height.

If you can read the game have good postional sense decent fullbacks who stop crosses and close down wingers quick.

Its then a lot harder to jus hit balls in the box I also belive we still be looking for another centre back.

Cannavaro wasn't he only 5ft odd another good defender who's made a career of being under 6ft

Carles puyol was only 5"10 and was one of the best centre half's in Europe at one point, ideally you would want your centre half's to be big tall lads but I don't think 6ft is that small and thats what Duffy and dicko are

duffy an dickinson seem to be both vocal players, so i am not sure muscle is what we require but maybe a player who fight for a place that is just a good defender (height not being an issue).

i dont know knight-percival but we must have other options being scouted.
