Favourite Notts County kit?

With the LONG wait for the new kits to be unveiled, let's reminisce about previous kits, what is your favourite shirt/kit that Notts have worn and why?

Mine is the 1997-99 home shirt, first Notts shirt that I remember born in '94. Also we won the league in that shirt (not that I remember that much, thank God for the internet). The shirt looks nice too and I own one of these shirts too. 😉

Away shirt, I quite liked the 13/14 purple and yellow shirt and last seasons all white one for looks.

1994 for me, magical kit and my Grandfather made my day when he purchased it.

It was the first football shirt I ever worn and I wouldn't take it off, literally if I dug out old family photos you will see me wearing it. If only the badge was better quality, along with the sponsor, as I found these to rip easily but I love the design!

My favourite has to be a tie between these two, only problem is i wasn't even born when we were wearing em!41b4253b7f6fba9b65a8ee0417f82198.jpg

1995/96 season is the season that evaded me , Bradford probably the reason for the mental block along with too much sun and shandy again .

Playoff winning Matchwinner kit of 89-91 with amber trim. Loved it and the success it brought. Also the Tartan away kit was pretty cool.

Id love for it to be purple again or even striped orange, but im sure it will be neither!

I own the horrible turquoise number with purple and white squares @ohstanleyaborah. When I wear it I look like someone who got caught out under a flock of migrating birds that desparately needed a dump. There's no accounting for taste! ;)

For sentimental reasons my favourite shirt was the 91-92 one (Home Bitter on the front, slightly thicker stripes than the previous two seasons) because it was my first. 81-82 (showcased here by Tristian Benjamin) looks very chic, probably our best kit IMO. I also really liked our kit in 97-98, no nonsense.

Slimmer pickings for our best away kit. I quite liked the orange one with the black stripe across it, 2000-ish? I like away kits with a historical angle too - the blue/maroon kit with Marstons Pedigree on the front was neat (although the maroon should really have been brown). The orange/black hooped shirt from three or four years ago was a nice idea but could have been better executed.
