Sad to say it looks like Bishop is off to pastures new, according to Chippers on twitter.

My favourite current player. :-(

Rumours been going around for awhile, supposedly due to his use and views on twitter.

It's sad, I'll go on record for saying I don't get the hatred towards Neal. It seems, one player gets this and they always up leaving. In a few weeks it will all be forgotten, some of these who have rejoiced his leaving will have dropped it. I guess this is football, so I shouldn't be surprised but I am saddened.

Stupidly I said we could cope the last time around, although I think we can still. How our squad is currently looking, it's getting quite concerning.

Neal always did alot and helped us here, I have a lot of respect for him.

The thing I liked most about Bish was his passion, when we lost a game you could see by his face it hurt him as much as us.

He famously did a post match interview with Colin Slater and he was that angry and upset at the way we had lost he could barely speak, Colin had to curtail the interview as he was clearly upset.

I really don't get the animosity on twitter and elsewhere, I think he should have just ignored the nobs and not bite back but that's easier said than done.

Very sad to hear Bish is definitely leaving. Great memories of his time at the club. I felt he had been a bit outspoken over the last season but his frustration was understandable. He will be missed but good luck to him.

No great surprise really, thought it looked like he was off once he gave up the captaincy and with some of the things he was saying. Technically he wasn't the best footballer but you very rarely got less than 100% from him, and he did score some great goals. We'll always remember him for that goal against Man City.

Thanks for everything Bish, all the best to you and your family

Good old NEP/This is Nottingham.

I hope Bish manages to attract a Championship clubs interest, if he makes two games and only that amount. He can still say it's something to be proud of, his whole careers been a journey and nothing can take away his 4 year stay at our club. I really, really would love to see his establish himself though.

I hear that Bishop will be joining Paul Ince at Blackpool, good luck to him.

Yes, I read an article somewhere that he is set to join the seaside club. I feel sorry for Neal, playing under Ince is risky stuff.

I was hoping he wasn't leaving, but i was sort of expecting him to go with alot of others going already. Good luck to him!
