Will things really improve under the current ownership?

The club needs a fresh direction that is for sure, yet I feel becoming Port Vale's reserves and hiring John Sheridan simply papers over the cracks. Its early but already we have seen petty verbal fights break out and well I don't think we will achieve much. I hate to be a buzz kill but at this stage, I do not think lessons have been learned!

Prove me wrong Notts.

Things aren't likely to change, but i think ray has taken a back seat and just let the CEO get on with running the club and things haven't gone so bad since that happened

I certainly hope the results start to improve soon, as i suppose we all do. The team spirit needs to improve too.

Things won't improve until we get at least O'Connor fit and one new Centre back. Thing is, Sheridan is lumbering along with last year's rubbish and who decided to give Hollis a new contract? I think if we can get a centre back in for before Saturday we might just start turning a corner

It will take JS 2 years to sort out this Notts side, the question will be whether he can stick it for that length of time, or whether trigger happy RT will give him that long.

Neither Hollis, nor Atkinson (too lightweight) should have been given new contracts and I can see Burke, Thompson, Hewitt and Milsom being surplus to requirements.

I think we have a squad of 29. 3 are coaches, 4 are first and second year pros, 2 are long term injured and at least 4 are useless, so that leaves us with a senior squad of 15/16. Not enough to compete this year, but hopefully a few of the young lads will get a few games this year to prove themselves.

It's not so much a case of if, for me they must improve but I am not disheartened about the start.

First win will be a massive boost, we must ensure that as a club - our utmost is done at Meadow Lane on Saturday. The fighting between players is silly, fans spoke of this during pre-season so why is it still happening? The fight over the pen with Izale and just the whole 'he can ho' just doesn't create the atmosphere which suggests we could gain promotion. If he goes so be it, but utilise all our options and keep everyone on the same page.

It would see so, I personally feel this would be best for the club.

It's never been one persons blame but a series of poor decisions and all the other stuff to boot - it makes sense to let the CEO run things. However, we should discuss things going bad since any point because we shouldn't tempt fate.

Saturday I will be singing my heart out.

a cheetah doesn't change its spots! i think if we continue struggle after a reasonable period of time, mistakes will be repeated.
