Rhys sharpe and notts have mutually agreed to terminate his contract so he can find first team football elsewhere!

Do you agree this was the right move for both parties or do you feel he should have been given a chance ?

@ohstanleyaborah Personally I don't think he was given a fair chance, he was a decent person to talk toΒ but we never got to properly see him play, might not of been good enough in training, hopefully he gets a chance somewhere else..

It's best we offload dead wood, if he hasn't featured much now - I doubt he would at any stage during his remaining contact.

We can't just keep players for the sake of it.

There's others who are more useful out there I am certain but I would hope avoid the regular 'loan' signing. I am really thinking we have spent close to our budget or believe we cannot sign better options, so it's to the loan market. Would be nice if we had a solid addition but as we know, good players are rare whilst being sent to us. It's usually a case of them gaining fitness or sat on the bench.

I have to agree, but when i saw him in pre-season he wasn't great, but i just wish we gave him a fair shot
