Stumbled upon this tweet where Michael O'Connor's implying that the Notts players haven't been getting paid... if this is the case, it's not on.

They've got bills to pay and mouths to feed, and with demotivation and resentment, performances would naturally drop.

The sooner this takeover is completed and this mess is sorted, the better. We're like Harchester bloody United at the minute.

Then it really is unfair to sack JS. The club is a farce

We really have to hope that Alan Hardy is our knight in shining armour, because we haven't got anything else. Our previous owner doesn't pay tax, players or other clubs and hides debts (Munto anyone?), our players are down right awful and we haven't got a manger.

I was behind JS, the players let him down, that was clear to see, but 9 straight losses indicates he wasn't up to turning it around, every game the same mistakes were happening. I don't think the next manager, whomever that may be, will have any better luck with the current crop of no-hopers.

Players not being paid ? Other staff ?? The legacy of the state the club is now in , thought the league helped in such circumstances ? So many questions, it's a real mess .Can it get any worse , guess AH knows all and will sort it all out .

That may have been the prior month, with the takeover in deadlock and awaiting exchange - it may be this reason as to why people haven't bee paid.

However, I assumed the now chairman would pay until things had been cleared up? That's one thing I don't get. I believe the Nottingham Post mentioned Hardy had stepped in to help pay the bills? If we believe this to be true, someone may be telling porkies.

He did also call a fan a D***head so I have no sympathy for him

And it's good night from him. Sad it's turned out this way but Sheridan was hardly blameless. The OS is very coy about whether he walked or was pushed. He won't have to wait long to find another club, that's for sure.

The BBC reported that players hadn't been paid a couple of months back. So the players haven't been getting paid and berated by their manager in the media - no wonder morale is low. Hopefully we can turn a new page next week, but it would be naive to think that Alan Hardy's going to pay for everything before the sale has gone through.
