Thanks for that, didn't realise he'd left Eindhoven.

Randers play in the Danish top flight and were in the Europa League as recently as 2015-16. They were formed 14 years ago as a result of a merger of several local clubs. In that time Colin Todd has managed them twice.

Ricky's managerial career is giving us an education on European football if not much else!

Never heard of them at all.

Ricardo Moniz will probably find decent jobs within Europe, but I would be more surprised if he returned to the English game. Perhaps when Mansfield fire Steve Evans?

Good interview, he speaks like a typical European manager but that is exactly what he is.

I recall fans saying how boring he was, though his talking of the game largely made sense and we did play some decent attacking football under him. It's just a shame we didn't have many saviours at the back in defence when he was here because we always seemed to score for fun.

I wish him well.

As an attacking coach, I couldn't argue, we played some really good entertaining football, the only issue was that we needed a Premier League standard defence to go with it as we had gaps all over the field when the opposition had the ball!

I never watched Notts away when he was in charge, but it looks as though he only knew one way to play football. Hugely entertaining, but massively pulling you hair out frustrating at the same time!

In taking an overview of Ricardo's stewardship, the strikers must take the fair share of the blame for their failure to convert the numerous chances created. The "money" wasted on Idle in particular.. Crawley must have thought they had hit the jackpot on us paying serious money for him? We should have been strong enough to walk away after their turning down of our initial bid.

I seem to recall an alleged bust up between Brano and Moniz re the need for a striker? If Idle was the best choice, only underlines the perceived sparseness of our recruitment ability

The football we played under Moniz was at times absolutely breathtaking, the issue for me was that he seem behind the curve on English football style ie you need to have quick defenders to properly play the slick passing attacking football as teams will and do hoof it back at you.

Being a person who loves the passing technical side of the game I loved his tenure for the football we played, closed my eyes when opposing teams had the ball and hated the environment that the club was in when he was here, as it ultimately proved, no manager was ever going to have success during those years.

Ricardo Moniz must save Randers FC from relegation from the highest Danish League

The 53-year-old coach was appointed on Saturday at the hedge shutter, where Michael Gravgaard, a director, is well-known. The Deen played at Hamburger SV when Moniz was a technician.

"We get a manager who is one of the most passionate and involved people in football I've ever met", says Gravgaard.

"He is full of energy and he inspires and motivates the players to do their utmost to do any workout. With Ricardo we get a trainer claiming a lot of his players. He is Dutch but not romantic, 99 percent is not enough for him, 100 Percent is the only thing that counts. "

Moniz was without club after he resigned at FC Eindhoven.
