Mason Bennett

Would you welcome him back next season as Nolan would like to?

IMO he made a good impact in the short time he was available, but the injury issues before he signed was a problem. The latest is just a long line of them unfortunately. If he had have stayed fit, would we have been automatic by now?

It was sad to see how many fans were against Mason Bennett signing, I'd welcome him back but we must be smart if this was to happen. Obviously his injury couldn't have been helped really, however we would have to manage it.

He's a decent player, his pace would have helped us massively and I think it's a shame that we didn't manage to hold onto him due to what happened.

I'm still not sure we would have made the automatics but I think he'd have helped - so really that says something. He instantly impacted the dynamics of the squad when he played and I would hope his quality could return to Notts next season.

Well we didn’t really see that much of him to make an assessment of how good he would be over a period of time but if KN rates him and wants him back that’s good enough for me.

I'd definitely have him back, but not as a main striker as I think he is far too injury prone to considered as one. If he lasted, then great as he would be in the first XI all of the time, but we would need two very good strikers in addition for when he is injured. We chucked all our eggs in his basket in January and looked what happened.

The lad is quality, but made of glass.
