Retrospective bans for violence

If the useless FA want to eradicate violence then those incidents last night ie the stamp on Duffy and the kick on Forte should leave both players banned for months not weeks.

Unless the punishment is severe enough then this type of behaviour will carry on regardless.

I suspect though that as always the FA will do nothing.

Will agree totally. Both incidents need dealing with, but won’t get touched. Let’s hope,I’m wrong, but doesn’t change th bloody penalty though. ????

And the Ref for Friday is Darren Drysdale!

WTF are the league playing at?

Let me guess the Ref for the final is just finishing his winter tour with circ de soleil....

I get the feeling both incidents will go unpunished and it wouldn't really surprise me if this was the case.

Not that I think it's right at all, it's not but it's not just the penalty decision which is going to frustrate me. I swear the referee was pointing to the spot before the incident took place and I would hope he gets punished - yet again I suspect three people will be extremely lucky.

Well Tom Davies (who stamped on Duffy) has been charged with violent conduct apparently and a panel of referees will decide on what action to take if any.

He's been given a 3 match ban.

It does not seem enough to me considering his aggressive behaviour.

I'm surprised that's he has been punished so quickly, however I think considering there's more than two incidents - I think it should have been slightly longer personally. He repeatedly swore at the match officials and his behaviour is shocking, for someone making a living doing something whereby he's supposed to be a professional its just very hard to accept moronic tweets like this.

3 games seems quite light for the stamp and kick but at least hes been punished.
