What would you change if you were Kevin Nolan?

Featured Replies

Nolan needs to man up and stop having favourites for a start and pick his sides on merit. Where’s the work ethic of last year? Has he learnt a plan B yet? It’s great having attacking players, but if you are just going to allow the opposition to run through midfield you’re not going to win that many games.

He needs to go back to keeping the game tight and use the extra class of the front 4 to nick a goal to win games. A new keeper that dominates his 18 yard area can organise the back four as he sees the danger first, after that the most pressing need is to tighten up the midfield and look to play on the counter.

Unfortunately I think the question may change to...

Would you change Kevin Nolan.

And knee jerk after tonight may lead some to say yes. Especially with the seemingly favourite game of Duffy. How this guy got a new contract I’ll never know, let alone is picked week in, week out.

no.

however 3 to 5 games this might be switched to a yes, the players make the same mistakes and nolan wont concede that hes in the wrong. remove duffy as the captain and rebuild from the back now whilst we can.
