What Match day travel do you prefer.?

Featured Replies

Cars great if you can find someone who doesn't mind driving whilst you have a drink, many years ago they ran "football special" trains which despite being very basic were cheap & a great day out, I don't do as much travelling now but if I do it tends to be on "Malc & Iris's" unofficial coach as that seems much friendlier than the official transport if you are travelling alone, Acco's coach is a laugh but no good if you are to young to drink or have to drive when you arrive back.

I used to prefer away days back when I followed Notts all over the country, don't get me wrong I loved going to Meadow Lane but a proper away day is special.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

I prefer going in car but I do like travelling on coaches and I miss the old mini bus I used to go to away games on.

A field where dreams become reality.

I go by car to away games with my family, otherwise it would be on a coach.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Home travel because its closer ????

I haven't really been to an away day myself so i cant really comment on those types of match days but the long travel doesnt really appeal to me.
