Bet Your Pleased To Have Won On Saturday

Joe seemed to think that a change of manager could be on the cards following your recent results.

Had you lost and this had happened you might now be seriously considering our (STFC) previous incumbent.

Or  ..... maybe The Rams feel a change would improve their home form.

Just a couple of thoughts for you to mull over.

@medievalmickey Haha...

I mentioned Di Canio in his 'sacked thread', I seriously would hate (strong word) him being in-charge of Notts. I think had we have not gotten the result it would be only right to hope for a change, yet realistically Fans do cut slack and if we see more games like Saturday then CK will be fine and eventually he'll win more and more back over.

I don't always agree with Nigel's decisions but we are making slow (very slow!)progress.If he was replaced the new manager would still have the financial constraints to cope with.I don't want our board to suddenly start throwing money at the moon only for us to be back,or even worse off,than we were 4 years ago.Paul Jewel spent a lot of money on over priced players with limited ability after inheriting the overpaid,relegated Billy Bonehead side.The majority of NC's signings have been good value and improved our side.I wish he would sign a commanding central defender but if he can sort the defense out and our long term injured players return and carry on as before their injuries I will remain patient and optimistic.

Di Canio along with Steve Evans would be my least favourite choices.

I wouldn't want Di Canio in charge.

Unfortunately, he's too much of a risk. He could be a complete disaster. Also, he throws fits when he doesn't get a lot of money to spend on players, which he wouldn't get at Notts.
