Posted December 13, 20186 yr #1 Neal Ardley has admitted it can’t wait for his Meadow Lane bow on Saturday as Notts prepare to take on Tranmere in his first home in charge of Notts.
December 14, 20186 yr #2 its fighting talk, good to see but i just want to see a good performance. i hope he gets a warm welcome and that things are lively from the off. the pressure needs to be taken away.
December 14, 20186 yr #3 Just need the same from the players a good fighting spirit , stick together, a win would do wonders , but a full ninety minutes performance of a good hard working standard would be appreciated by the fans , coyp let’s get this revival on the road .
December 14, 20186 yr #4 I predict that Neal Ardley will quickly endear himself to the fans. Kevin Nolan soon became a fans favourite but never really connected. Already Neal has directed the players to approach fans after the Mansfield game and acknowledge their commitment to the cause.
December 14, 20186 yr #5 He's going about things quite smartly in my opinion, there's common sense to his approach and I feel he's careful but to the point with what he says. I hope the lads put on a good performance, this would be the most encouraging sign. I know the players are professional, yet I feel there's a level of nerves and a lack of convinced. Two things both Neal Ardley and Neil Cox must approach and resolve. The fitness and enjoyment can come with good performances but the tactics and discipline is something needs to be applied ASAP.
December 14, 20186 yr #6 I agree, its a good feeling knowing the manager is eager to start his home managerial debut off well. I think the support will be there from the off, the game should be lively but the players need to go for it. Better marking would solve a lot of the issues, knowing how to go forward, create space and attack would equally help Notts.
December 15, 20186 yr Author #7 I can’t wait to welcome our new gaffer to his new home I really think he will make a difference.. it’s good to know he is chomping at the bit to get started in his first home game.
December 17, 20186 yr #8 It worked didn't it! Neal Ardley is refreshing and very positive. I like the fact he gives nothing a way!
