Enzio is ahead of schedule as he looks for a early return

Notts County and the gaffer have today receivedΒ some good news as winger EnzioΒ BoldewijnΒ is ahead of schedule as he looks to return to the first team earlier than the original three monthΒ assessment suggested.

Enzio who was injured back in November and underwent surgery to repair his knee in the 1-1 draw his return was first scheduledΒ middle ofΒ February but it seems he is ahead of schedule.

The gaffer said β€œhe is making excellent progress and is pencilled in to return to full training next week”

Please, please, please let's no rush him back.

I'm very nervous about him getting injured again, we really need him and it's a two sided coin type of thing. Massive that he's back but with the lack of fitness throughout the squad, it does make me worry over another injury (which we need to avoid).

yeah, i dont think neal ardley is the type of manager who would rush key players.

there is no doubt that enzio has been a big loss, if we can get him back and drill into him that he must assist with defending. i think he would be a huge boost to the starting 11.

He will be a big player again once returned, I think we can allow him to play his game but contributing when he can to the defending would be good. I am sure the club won't rush or risk injury again but I do share the concern that another setback could happen.
