Moniz interview with Paul Mace

Featured Replies

The audio seems much quieter than normal, I can barely hear Ricardo (probably due to his microphone). When I noticed the announcement, I instantly thought of the interview you did @Piethagoram. I really do enjoy Paul's work with these, he's very relaxed and, comes across as a very passionate fan. Whereas, Moniz could talk forever and, still manage to keep people entertained.

He really does love football.

I dipped in to this yesterday, I'll make sure I watch the rest. Moniz really is such an interesting and engaging man and this gives us an idea what he must have been like behind the scenes. It's a shame he's never really achieved success as a manager - the modern habit of hiring and firing meant his approach never had the chance to bear fruit.

And to think the Trew's sacked this man to hire Jamie Fullarton.....

He is right about a direction or philosophy the club must take. It's clearly highlighted that we didn't have one at our club as the Trew's chopped and changed that much, any direction or method to the madness was unrecognisable. Sacking attacking Moniz and appointing ultra-defensive Fullarton was a special highlight of their chaotic reign.Β
