Room for improvement

Youth trainees... disappointed in Archie Aves, whose pass completion was not really up to the standard needed

I checked the team line-up and for updates periodically as I was out.

I felt a bit disappointed to read comments on Facebook about how slow Notts played, it's friendly and just about fitness. I think that went out of the window after the first goal, which looked nice a nice little build up. The second goal, I wondered if he meant it but it was a beauty for sure.

The trialists can't really be measured against Coalville with all due respect to them, against Derby and York we will see more about what they bring.

Coalville are at least a couple of weeks ahead of us in terms of fitness as their season finished ages ago. Add into that 30 degrees Celcius, a Frankenstein team of youth, trialist and contracted players....I'm not sure why people expected Barcelona.

no tyreace palmer? hes either being lined up for a loan move or god knows why he was not at this friendly.

Think he is recovering from an injury at the end of last season he did mention in his interview when he signed that he was looking forward to possibly going out on loan though

Same problem as Keith Lemon?????

You think Kyle Wootton has a tattoo that might not be deemed family friendly? There's no signs of a tattoo in any of the promotional photos for the new kits.

Notts got out of the friendly what they needed, a chance to get a good game in and retain a clean sheet. At this stage it is all about fitness, giving players a run out and just seeing where the players are at in terms of fitness.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
