CEEFAX 50th anniversary
I hate it! ???? The amount of times you would be trying to watch something, only for @super_ram to turn it on and take over the TV screen. There were some good memories, such as the score updates and the games which were on them. It makes you appreciate the earlier forms of the internet and other communication methods. My children wouldn't know how lucky they are to have mobile phones.

Raddy booked for "Ungentlemanly conduct" 1979
I agree with, @liampie. Sometimes back then the paint wasn't very good, so it was a lot more difficult in the heat of the moment to check your positioning. It's funny how he wasn't booked, but I do think the referee made a smart choice. I think things like this lead to stricter rules though, where the decision is less about the ref's thoughts and more down to the rules exactly as they are written.

Worcester City v Notts County Women
Great win and start for our women's team. Proud that they have started strong, and I hope to continue to see the signs of their hard work in comparison to last season. They are looking likely to stay up, and the building process of the team is promising. Congrats to them for the win here!

Where are they now : Jayden Richardson
I would say it's a mixture of not playing regularly and Jayden Richardson not applying himself, it's difficult for young players to find their feet once they leave their parent club - especially after being loaned out a lot. He really should have signed for a team that would play him, then show commitment to them by avoiding transfer's like the one he had to Aberdeen. I fully understand why he went, it was a massive opportunity and clearly the move came from his time with us - as they signed Cal Roberts too. Hopefully, he will now settle at Boreham Wood.

Manchester City To Get Off ?
Manchester City will get off with it, which will make a mockery of the Premier League and the FA. They're only a big club due to the money that's been pumped into them, but because they're super wealthy they think it's fine to go about breaking rules. If this happened prior to the takeover, they would see much swifter actions and even clubs like Chelsea are punished almost instantly as the charges are given. It's making football look bad, and potentially it will cause further issues with other rich clubs trying it on. The Premier League and FA need to make the rules and laws of the game easier to take action. With the risk of delays from clubs fighting it has a punishment if they're in the wrong. Sometimes things do have a natural longer process, but once charges are made, then it needs to come down to facts and the punishment should be fitting of the issues. The fact Manchester City think they can get away with it, I think harsher penalties should be applied. The only thing I can see happening is them being given a large fine which means nothing to them.

Ricardo Moniz's new position
I really hope this is the club where he can settle, and use his knowledge of the game to help them further. He sounds like he's doing a fantastic job, so hopefully we'll still see him in charge of them for another season or two, ideally longer but with a lot of changes in football. Ricardo Moniz is a fantastic coach, with his insight into the game, but it's right now where he's showing his class as a manager.

I Hate Sam Allardyce
Over the years, a lot of footballers have come out saying they dislike. I think it's quite a common thing; there's been people who have stated they hate Neil Warnock. As for this, I don't know why you would complain about having a day off, but it does show a level of professionalism and commitment. Maybe he thought if Big Sam wasn't calling off training sessions the team would perform better? It's quite funny though, David Bentley who worked under him at Blackburn Rovers once said that Big Sam's approach to management bought the best out of him, and that he was the best manager who knew how to get the best out of him. The partying lifestyle, drinking culture and the social side does fit some players.

Weekly Chat 23rd to 29th September.
The past few weeks, my laptop has been sounding like it's about to take off. I was expecting a trip to the moon, or maybe I would be joining Tony on his holiday. I am sure that would have surprised him, but it was getting annoying. A common issue with gaming laptops, so I spent an hour just now deep cleaning the bloody thing. Removed the fans, gave them a good cleaning. Cleaned the motherboard, gave it a good once over with a mini vacuum Cheeky bought. Found quite a few bits of very large dust bits. Put it back together, everything is back to normal. I don't really like cleaning it. I must make a habit of doing it once a month. I won't be flying anywhere now, and nobody at home will be moaning about the sound. ???? I'm starting to feel quite a lot better, but somehow I bit my lip whilst sleeping. No idea how you do that, without waking up. I still don't plan to over do the singing at Morecambe, but I am happy that I am feeling more likely that I am able to go.

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Burton Albion?
Well done, Kellan Gordon for winning the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match against Burton Albion in the EFL Trophy. ????????

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Shrimps (A)
Morecambe could have a turning point at any moment, I feel sorry for them because I don't think they should be in this position and having signed 15 players in a single day, that is a lot of players needing to settle into a new environment. I have seen their highlights, they don't play badly but can be caught out. Defensively, I do see that they have weaknesses and this should be somewhere Notts tries to cause as many problems with as possible. I would hope we can make the most of set pieces and corner kicks, as Morecambe do throw bodies and it can become a little chaotic. I do think we'll get the time to shoot, even without set pieces, but Morecambe are very capable in attacking despite not having won yet. If they remain as a team, we might struggle to take our chances but if they become disconnected - that is where the game would unfold.

What Now For AJ?
Tyson Fury fights on his own terms and is one of the worst to avoid fighting people he believes would beat him. If he thinks there's a chance, he screws them out of money by demanding more of the fights prize money as a way to try to force his opponent into saying no. Anthony Joshua I do think could with Fury, but it could go down to who boxers better on the day. Fury is a very irritating character, the way he treated Oleksandr Usyk before and after their fight shows what a gutter ball he is. AJ treats his opponents with respect and is by far the better professional. I like that he came out saying that he wouldn't retire and wanted to speak after the fight, despite being advised not to do it. That is a further sign of respect. I wouldn't rule him out of going for a championship title again, but he needs to work harder and train well. I personally think he should keep away from television shows during periods where he's expected to fight, stick to the gym and training.

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Burton Albion?
I didn't listen to the game, or watch it. So, I can't really vote on who should be given the man of the match.

Yes, it's very good. One of my favourites featuring Nicolas Cage.

Match Discussion: Trophy - The Brewers (A)
Just mix the team up a bit, bring in some of the players who haven't had many minutes so far. I don't value the EFL trophy at all. I think throwing a too weakened squad would be negative, but I would consider seeing what Brown is like as a striker and resting some of our key players. Only some, it's not something I would take seriously. I wished Notts could pull out of it, like they did with the F.A Cup (which should have been taken seriously). It's one game, unless you progress. Not a series of pointless group games.

Weekly Chat 23rd to 29th September.
I hope you enjoy watching the DVD, Robbie. I keep thinking about watching something at night, but I tend to struggle to find something that interests me. One thing that keeps jumping out is - "Trapped in Paradise". I'm taking today, a little slower. I need to finish off my prints and I forgot to publish a Notts Alumni yesterday. So, I'll reset and start again on the Sunday coming up. I don't feel unwell, but I have done something to my throat as it's sore, and I sound croaky. I think I need to rest my vocal cord. A weekend of shouting, chanting and singing (at home too) hasn't been a smart choice. ????

One for Poirot : What was the attendance v Gillingham
I normally always take a picture of the attendance that is shown on the scoreboard, yesterday, I didn't. It seems strange thinking back that I didn't, but then again, I stopped taking pictures after the Sam Austin goal was ruled out - possibly before that. I remember hearing the announcement, just not the amount. It could just be written off as the officials and frustration lead to the mistake, it's easily done. Maybe a note or message was given incorrectly? Upon reviewing my photos, I noticed that Meadow Lane appears bustling in areas that typically wouldn't see such activity, even with a crowd of 11,000.

Harry Caine's Em
There's only a minimal amount of hate expressed, the rest is criticism and a bit of being a meme. I like him, but he's not always the right option to lead the national team now. If he does, then we need to adapt the formation and make sure he's supported. I don't think he should be dropping deep any more and his energy levels should be reserved. I don't get why some people verbally abused him during the World Cup, it wasn't a lack of effort but a mixture of poor form, bad tactics and tiredness. Simply, he shouldn't have been guaranteed to start. Without him, I don't think we'd make the final. At least not having some form of playing time in all the games, he just needed to play every group game. There should be a level of respect for what he's achieved, as in his younger days he at times carried England. Much like how Wayne Rooney and David Beckham did.

Faces of PON 24-25: Gillingham (H)
Pride of Nottingham's Chris was back at Meadow Lane taking pictures throughout this past Saturday's game against Gillingham. Despite the frustration on the pitch, and the disappointing 1-0 defeat. The magpies will come back stronger, take a look to see if you feature in the Faces of PON gallery.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Gills (H)
@Piethagoram Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that you were caught in a thunderstorm and had such a nightmarish journey home as a result. I was mostly home when the rain started, and fully back when my home windows were vibrating from the noise of the storm. I'm glad this didn't happen during the game, or am I? It's a shame the game wasn't postponed, actually, oh well we move on.

Jodi Jones Injury
@Turkey_Twizzler mentioned this: Firstly, I hope Jodi is okay. He looked concerned and barely able to walk, he wasn't as such just limping but not walking on his left foot. The support will most likely help with compression and support. The crutches will just help him avoid putting too much weight on his injury, or putting his other leg/foot in danger due to compensating how he walks. We can't really read into this, just as to how serious the injury is. There's more negative signs from how he got up, dropped to the floor. He sat for a moment before attempting again, only to hobble afterward. It could be a potential sprained foot/twisted ankle. It didn't seem to be the actual "leg" which is a potential good sign, even though this isn't ideal.

Ex Notts analyst Craig Cope
It was probably "those" friends who got him hired by Notts. I don't recall him being at the club, before he left for his Forest gig. I hate how certain staff use Notts as a stepping stone, especially when it's due to be appointed within the friends and family circle. I think the Reedtz have done well, with making sure the club appoints the right people. How he went from Solihull Moors to AFC Wimbledon I don't know, he must have some connections though. I think I found his account from before he got into football here: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/craig-cope-2a8459b7 ????????????????

When Is Enough, Enough?
I have never held Steve Bruce in high regard. He's a 50-second manager and once his spark runs out - it all falls down hill. He's pretty average at best, but it's stopping new managers coming in. Which affects football, especially from the international front. We won't have good English managers making that step up into the Premier League, but there are dead beats already taking the positions, being fired and restarting. It might sound harsh, but there are people, just like Bruce, who just need to leave the game now. Bruce used to rely on loans from Manchester United, Darren Ferguson is a decent manager, but even he used his dad to establish his career by loaning United players. There will never be a manager age limit cap though, but just as in the U.S. are seeing with their presidency - it could be a good idea.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Gills (H)
I thought it was a lively start by both teams, Gillingham did look like a good team but once we took control of the first half - Notts piled the pressure and did have chances to open the lead. I thought defensively we looked comfortable, we dealt with threats, but the counter from Gillingham was a concern. Their goal came against the run of play, we had all the better chances but they either managed to score a perfectly timed goal, or it was offside. It happened so quickly, in person that I couldn't tell. The camera angles of Sky Sports are poor, they barely keep up with it, and it looks hard to judge. Even with this, I felt frustrated by the officials as they missed many clear fouls. There were numerous instances of pushes and throw-ins awarded to them despite it being our possession, alongside countless questionable decisions that left the referee and his assistants in utter disarray. I thought we would still get into the game, and we did have chances, we pretty much ran the show in the last 45th minutes. Sam Austin's goal didn't look offside to me, watching the footage, I found it hard to spot anything that would lead to it being so lately called. Jonny Williams aggressive approach to the assistant is what changed and the reason for the late call for offside. He shouldn't have approached the assistant, but cowardly he flagged late. Since, I have seen a picture which @ARLukomski showed me a still image, and I have listened to Stuart Maynard. I wasn't sure about the penalty call on Javani Brown, but I can say he wasn't offside or interfering with the play when Austin scored. It was very frustrating, but I am pleased by the Notts performance. Gillingham deserve credit, they made the game hard, but there are elements from their game which wasn't good to see. Jodi Jones departure from the field of play raised significant concerns. To expand on this:

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
Jacob Bedaeu, he played some quality football and was defensively spot on for me. Bedaeu, can play a quick pass which a lot of our players seem afraid to do, but this from him gave David McGoldrick a good chance and he put Conor Grant clear through until a Gillingham player clattered Grant. I felt a bit miffed by Matty Platt's Man of the Match at the game, I thought he was quite solid but wasn't as involved. I wouldn't say poor, as he was good but just not Man of the Match for me.
