  1. Wouldn’t it be great if Notts were the ones to score points against Wrexham? They’re tough opponents on their home ground, but hopefully, we can put up a good match and handle their long balls that skip the midfield. We now have more robust choices in defence, which is positive. It’s set to be a thrilling match!

  2. Typically, Walsall tends to perform well or better than us. They often have skilled players, which makes the game both frustrating and entertaining. Since we’ve been in the National League, I haven’t followed them closely and don’t recognise any players. However, their league position won’t matter until after our match. Hopefully, Dan Crowley and Jodi Jones will be ready for their visit. Let’s see how it goes!

  3. Crawley should have stuck to their strategy that allowed them to control most of the first half. Instead, they let Notts start to show their quality. Our midfield, even though it was a bit makeshift, did incredibly well. I thought the second half was excellent. We won’t always dominate teams for the full 90 minutes and sometimes we’ll find it tough, but that’s why our possession and passing are so crucial.

  4. Securing a win in the forthcoming match would not only keep Gillingham and Swindon on their toes, but it would also stand as a testament to our team’s grit and tenacity. It would send a clear message to our competitors that we’re not merely taking part, but we’re in it to win it. Maintaining our winning streak is about more than just racking up points; it’s about building momentum and cultivating a winning mindset within the squad. Each triumph bolsters our determination and reaffirms our faith in our capabilities. This self-belief can be the game-changer in nail-biting matches and tough scenarios. A victory would also give a much-needed lift to everyone involved with the team.

From the players and coaching staff to the fans, everyone reaps the benefits of the positive vibes that a win generates. This positivity can see us through gruelling training sessions, aid us in bouncing back from setbacks, and keep us focused on our objectives. As we approach the weekend, a win would also afford us the chance to rest and rejuvenate with a sense of achievement. It enables us to look back on our performance with contentment, pinpoint areas for improvement in a constructive way, and anticipate our next match with even excitement. A win is more than just three points on the board; it’s a catalyst for positive transformation, a source of motivation, and an emblem of our team’s potential. So let’s get out there, give it everything we’ve got, and keep this winning streak going!

  5. I suspect we will see the first glimpse of Junior Morias. I have hope that he will prove to be a valuable part of the squad. He hasn’t had much chance until now, so if Luke Williams decides to make changes which include him, it will be interesting to see how he does. Everything else is sort of to be expected. I do feel sorry for Sam Slocombe that he hasn’t had much of a chance. Aidan Stone is progressing nicely and is showing positive signs, but I still appreciate Slocombe. Accrington might be in good form, but I see little reason to fear them. I am more concerned that we won’t play as smoothly or calmly as we have seen at the back.

  6. It's great to see the optimism for Notts County's performance at home. I agree that seizing opportunities will be crucial, especially against a strong squad like Tranmere Rovers. The defensive aspect is a concern, and maintaining possession at the back sounds like a solid strategy. Hopefully, the home advantage will play a role in boosting Notts' performance. The size of the crowd might indeed impact the atmosphere. Let's hope for a well-fought match and a positive outcome for Notts.

I can't make a score prediction for this game, it's difficult to call.

  7. It’s great to head into the season having won our remaining friendlies. While the performance may not matter as much, winning does breed confidence. After the matches against Stoke and Forest, some players may have doubts creeping into their minds. Luke Williams will know which squad to field, but it would be nice to see some of the younger players given a chance.

  8. Although I am not religious, like other Notts fans, I will be praying more come Sunday. The 12:30 kick-off on a Sunday is unusual and I hope it doesn’t distract the players. I am sure they will be fine, but this isn’t just a training game - it could add to an already great season and make it even better! I predict a 2-0 win, but it won’t be plain sailing at all.

  9. Notts is a football team that has shown better performance when they play in a straightforward and aggressive style that allows them to identify the vulnerabilities of the opposing team. It would be advantageous if they occasionally take long-range shots at the goal while avoiding excessive passing or trying to penetrate the opponent's defence too much. Notts has demonstrated that they can excel when they press for a chance, but if the opposing team decides to park the bus and defend the goal area with several players, it may be easier to attempt a shot from outside the box.

  10. Take the point but Notts needs to stop wasting attacks focusing on Cal Roberts and Enzio Boldewijn.

    Cal Roberts played magnificently well.

But Notts looked better when Jim O'Brien was sliding those through balls in to feed Kristian Dennis or Kyle Wootton in the first half, it became all lump it to the wing and pass it back.

Can’t see us getting much out of this Game taking into account Missing players and the TV monkey on our back.

Those that step up need to show why they deserve to start, the squad has depth and its time we used it. Notts have had large squads for years now, some there's got to be players to cover the injuries.

Hopefully, someone can grab an early goal to take much of the nerves off the game.
