  1. Maidstone are a poor side. It could have been 8-2. Notts have got to stop conceding sloppy goals.
  2. I remember my first visit to Meadow Lane. It was August 2007 and it was Brentford. I arrived on the Friday and couldn't resist a trip to ML. The groundstaff were doing their final bits and pieces. I must have looked like a tourist because one of them asked if I was OK. I explained where I was from and he asked if I wanted to stroll around the stadium while they were finishing up. It was a fantastic gesture and one I'll always remember. Notts County and the fans have always made he feel at home when I visit.
  3. Hull 1-1 Watford Norwich 1-2 Swansea Peterborough 1-1 Ipswich Port Vale 1-2 Bristol Rovers Hartlepool 2-1 Crawley Mansfield 2-1 Stevenage (Joker) Eastleigh 2-1 Solihull York 2-1 Aldershot
  4. Sunderland 2-1 Huddersfield (Joker) Burton 1-2 Bolton Exeter 1-1 Derby Carlisle 0-1 Stockport Crawley 1-1 Colchester Grimsby 1-2 Barrow Altrincham 1-1 Dagenham Halifax 2-1 Bromley
  5. I always get emotional on the anniversary of Hillsborough. I was 12 and I remember it like it was yesterday. Scenes like that were too much to process for a 12 year old. 97 victims. Countless lives destroyed. Grown men and women who still can't talk about or deal with what they witnessed that day. Today I would like to remember Tony Bland, Andy Devine, Sarah Hicks and Louise Hicks. Tony clung to life for 4 years before passing away in 1993. Andy survived against all the odds and died at the age of 55. The 97th victim. Sarah and Louise were sisters. 19 & 15. A life time of potential gone in a few tragic moments. I'm in Liverpool in June and the memorial will be my first stop. It will be emotional but it's something I need to do.
  6. Blackpool 1-1 Wigan Watford 2-1 Bristol City Lincoln 2-1 Port Vale (Joker) Shrewsbury 1-2 Portsmouth Carlisle 2-1 Northampton Swindon 1-1 Barrow Chesterfield 2-1 Eastleigh Torquay 2-1 York
  7. After watching the Wrexham goals again, Notts have to improve defensively. Those sort of defensive gaps would be fatal on a big pitch like Wembley.
  8. It's was a poor first half but the 2nd half more than made up for it. We need a miracle now but given how this season has gone, I wouldn't rule it out. Sky Sports are showing the goals from the game. When was the last time a NL game had such coverage?
  9. Birmingham 1-2 Stoke Coventry 2-1 Watford Fleetwood 1-1 Bristol Rovers Port Vale 1-1 Oxford Colchester 1-1 Crewe Tranmere 2-1 Swindon (Joker) Bromley 1-2 Borehamwood Wealdstone 1-1 Solihull Moors
  10. All the pressure is on Wrexham now.
  11. I'm not sure what day of the week it is, but I can't disappoint Lenny ???? Blackburn 2-1 Norwich Blackpool 2-1 Cardiff Bristol Rovers 1-2 Charlton Lincoln 2-1 Cheltenham Gillingham 1-1 Doncaster Harrogate 1-1 Wimbledon Barnet 1-2 Bromley Oldham 2-1 Altrincham (Joker)
  12. Norwich 1-2 Sheffield Utd West Brom 2-1 Millwall Charlton 2-1 Shrewsbury (Joker) Derby 1-1 Ipswich Colchester 1-2 Newport Northampton 2-1 Stevenage Bromley 1-1 Solihull Scunthorpe 2-1 Torquay
  13. Happy with that. Back on top. Puts the pressure back on Wrexham.
  14. Great performance by the Pies. Scunthorpe are a very poor side but you can only beat what is in front of you.
  15. Fleetwood 2-1 Lincoln Peterborough 2-1 Derby Grimsby 1-1 Walsall Mansfield 2-1 Sutton (Joker) Stevenage 2-1 Salford Altrincham 2-1 Southend Borehamwood 2-1 Eastleigh Wealdstone 1-2 Barnet
  16. Scunthorpe have won once away from home this season. They are in a relegation battle and will do well to stay up. Notts won 4-1 at Scunthorpe in December. Everything points to a home win but we will be changing keepers and there may be absences due to injury. This is a real test for LW.
  17. Advantage Wrexham again. It feels like Notts are holding on by their fingernails in the title chase.
  18. I think I can predict how this will go. Barnet will press high and will take the lead. Barnet will tire and Notts will score 3. The end.
  19. QPR 2-1 Birmingham Reading 1-1 Hull Morecambe 1-1 Oxford Port Vale 2-1 Burton (Joker) Carlisle 2-1 Stevenage Stockport 1-2 Mansfield Gateshead 2-1 Torquay York 2-1 Dorking
  20. A vital 3 points. I'd prefer if Notts didn't give the opposition a goal start. It's not good for my blood pressure.....
  21. Eastleigh fully deserved their lead. County have improved since Eastleigh scored. Eastleigh will most likely be in the playoffs so we can see how difficult it's going to be.
  22. Fun fact, the last time more than 1 goal was scored in a game involving Eastleigh was Feb. 21st. A total of 5 games. Eastleigh are a difficult side to beat but Notts won 2-0 at their place in November. I think it will be a very close game. 1-0 to Notts is my prediction.
  23. Dorking came to play. They deserved their lead but County responded and fully deserved the win.
  24. This game has me worried. Dorking went toe to toe with Notts in September and won. It should be a different story at ML but if Dorking adopt the same approach, I think they will create chances and our defence is creaking a bit. It's a must win game for Notts. I'd take any kind of win. Longstaff scoring with his arse in the 99th minute to win the game is fine by me.....
  25. Birmingham 1-1 Rotherham Sheffield Utd 2-1 Luton (Joker) Barnsley 2-1 Plymouth Bolton 2-1 Ipswich Barrow 1-1 Sutton Doncaster 2-1 The Real Dons Eastleigh 2-1 Oldham Torquay 1-2 Wealdstone
