  1. Take a bow Tiernan Brooks. His penalty save has kept County in the title chase. Bromley should have been out of sight by half time. County got a foot hold in the 2nd half and just about deserved a draw. It wasn't a great performance to be fair.
  2. Millwall 2-1 Norwich Rotherham 2-1 QPR Lincoln 2-1 Oxford (Joker) Wycombe 2-1 Exeter Harrogate 1-2 Gillingham Walsall 2-1 Barrow Oldham 1-1 Borehamwood Wealdstone 2-1 Altrincham
  3. We'll miss you Grannypie. It won't be the same without you. Bristol City 2-1 Hull (Joker) Sheffield Utd 2-1 Watford Barnsley 1-1 Derby Burton 2-1 Accrington Doncaster 1-2 Bradford Mansfield 2-1 Salford Halifax 2-1 Maidenhead York 2-1 Yeovil
  4. Blackburn 2-1 Swansea (Joker) Hull 1-1 Preston Lincoln 1-1 Portsmouth Wycombe 2-1 Bolton Salford 2-1 Swindon Stockport 2-1 Stevenage Eastleigh 2-1 Maidenhead Solihull 1-2 Chesterfield
  5. Blackpool 2-1 Rotherham Watford 2-1 Blackburn Ipswich 1-2 Sheffield Wednesday Peterborough 2-1 Bolton Swindon 2-1 Doncaster (Joker) Grimsby 1-1 Colchester Dagenham 1-1 Solihull Woking 2-1 Borehamwood
  6. Huddersfield 1-1 QPR Millwall 1-2 Sunderland Exeter 2-1 Charlton (Joker) Oxford 1-1 Shrewsbury Bradford 1-1 Mansfield Gillingham 2-1 Crawley Borehamwood 2-1 Chesterfield Southend 2-1 York
  7. Aldershot away is one of those you'd be concerned about, even more so when it is a January fixture, but Notts got the job done in a professional manner. We can't worry about anyone else, just need to keep picking up points.
  8. A point away from home is a good result but you can't help thinking that it should have been 3. On to the next game.
  9. That was a great start to the new streaming service. Goals galore. A very important 3 points. Onto Tuesday.
  10. 3 points. +3 to the goal difference. Wrexham drew. All in all, a good day's work.
  11. If the Pies have scored a better free kick than Castro's, I don't remember it. What a strike from that distance. It was like a guided missile.
  12. After last week's disappointment, which just gets more disappointing, the more you think of it, this game has a must win feel about it. York are a decent side but Notts should be expecting something from the game. I think Notts will improve and will win this game.
  13. Ouch. I bet this result comes back to bite us in the backside.....
  14. Dorking don't do boring. Nil all draws? Nope. Dorking doesn't do nil alls. They have scored 12 and conceded a whopping 20 in 8 games. The worst defensive record in the division. Given the form Nott's attackers are in, this could be a cricket score. I'll go for 6-2 to Notts.
  15. Notts are in form. Notts are at home. Aldershot are struggling. You can see where I'm going with this.....
  16. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Notts would win 5-0 at Dagenham.
  17. Brilliant win. Notts are building up a head of steam. On to Dagenham and another difficult fixture.
  18. Chances are if anyone finishes above Solihull, they will be champions. Solihull have found their form in the last game and a half. Notts at home is one of the toughest fixtures in this league so it has all the makings of a classic. It won't end 0-0. More likely to end 5-5!
  19. Great win. On to Monday and a tasty fixture against promotion rivals.
  20. Halifax are struggling. This is the best time to play them. You'd be expecting 3 points from this but it's Notts.......so who knows!
  21. Talk about a game of 2 halves. Notts were poor in the first half. A couple of changes and a more direct approach and Notts picked up a point. Hopefully LW will stick with 2 up front and a more direct approach. It works.
  22. The jury is still out on the 3-5-2 formation but LW will persist with it. I'd prefer 4-4-2 given that we have 2 quality strikers and a third that gives us something different when required. Chesterfield have improved game by game. They were well deserved winners over Wrexham and looked like genuine title contenders. They are one of the few teams who will come to ML and take the game to Notts. All the momentum is with Chesterfield.
  23. The league is there for the taking this year. If Notts get their act together, automatic promotion is a strong possibility. Saturday's game against Chesterfield is a chance to make a real statement of intent.
  24. Not a great performance by all accounts. Lucky to escape with a draw. Their goal was an early Christmas present. Those mistakes have to be cut out.
  25. A point at Borehamwood is a good result but it was disappointing to lose the lead twice. Mitchell on the scoresheet is nice to see.
