"From what I heard at the back end of last season Moniz got you playing some good football and had you appointed him just a few weeks earlier the outcome may have been different. But all in your signings have impressed me. I think John Stead is a excellent acquisition. Id say you look good for a play-off position but need more fire-power up front to push for an automatic spot. I have to say League 2 looks the strongest its been for a while so you will face tough opposition but I think you will bounce back at the first attempt." Very fair views, hence why Ray perhaps feels the need to for us to sign Mackail-Smith if we can. I do think Spencer and Stead will be fine, as goals should come from all over the field but we do need that extra fire power upfront. Interesting.

From the predictions posted, i think the will be spot on or abouts. I do think Crawley and Bradford will win though. If we can beat Port Vale it will go a long way in my opinion.

MK Dons v Bristol City, big game that. I hope the dons can continue their recent form against them, they have coped well since losing Benik Afobe.

It wouldn't be the first time Notts have been robbed by scouse if anything was happen.

They dont seem to have much fire power, so hopefully we can attempt to keep what they do have quiet. Bajner upfront alongside Thompson for me. That should cause them so trouble in their defence, also hopefully the game goes ahead without being called off.

Last seasons squad - The right move?

I think we have been missing the more experienced and quality players we had last season. For me Dean Leacock should never be allowed to wear a football shirt, he just plays for the money and no self pride. He is not a footballer but a mercenary. In the community the other day I said we lacked the quality of some of the players who have moved on, probably the match thread. I think I would take Campbell-Ryce back on considering we need someone with pace, at least he could get the odd cross in and score. Good blog -
Question is do we have the quality to cause the problems? At least its away from home, we usually do better in those games but it would be nice to win one of the top teams.

What happens if Noble's card is rescinded? It gives someone a chance, tho it does seem unfair. I dont have a good feeling about the game. -
