  1. They need to make a shirt for the dog, then it could really be a fan! Itโ€™s a funny and nice video. The owners are lucky too, that the dog enjoys football as much as they do.
  2. I agree with this; we need to be thankful that we are back in the Football League. The issue is that football is a fickle sport, and some selfish people only think about their own needs without considering the thoughts of others. I think if you hurl abuse at a football match, it says a lot about that type of person in general. I wonder how some of these types would like it if someone shouted abuse at them while they were trying to work? When you think things couldnโ€™t be beaten with how pathetic they seem, some have to go that extra step further and take it out on the players for a friendly defeat.
  3. I think I joined Twitter at the wrong time. At the moment, I just read. I donโ€™t blame Elon Musk for taking action; Treads is a direct copy, but what will come of that, I donโ€™t know.
  4. I like both the home and away shirts; both look classy to me. The home shirt takes some getting used to, but once you get past the different look, I think it will grow on fans. The away shirt is lovely.
  5. I think itโ€™s a good move. I have seen fans who have said they hoped he would come here, which is fair. Those who think heโ€™s better than Stone and are being negative about it should give Aidan Stone more of a chance. Archie Mair was good, but I donโ€™t think he was quite ready to push to be our number one.

  15. It's great to hear how the academy benefits from the promotion. The club has been working hard in this area, and from the Nuneaton game, it seems we have quite a few youngsters with a good level of potential. However, all that hard work fails if we can't secure them the proper experience needed. If loan moves are a question, we need to be less afraid to play them and try to give the more senior youth players actual development time. If Crewe and other clubs can bring in their own homegrown players, why are we stopping ourselves? It's a good read of the Academy manager's thoughts.
  16. These are the updates that should happen when the club has a few players out. I just love how Luke Williams is open and goes about detailing the answers to questions. Notts Countyโ€™s media team deserves credit for stepping things up; they have been doing great, and we are all very lucky to have everyone at the club now.
  17. You can see how the ideas and thinking process are being transferred onto the pitch. Notts are quite thoughtful and aware of how to attack in games, and getting Macaulay Langstaff, Cedwyn Scott, David McGoldrick, and Junior Morias all fired up for the new season can only be a good thing. I am keen to see how they all perform in tomorrowโ€™s friendly, except for Morias, who is carrying a knock.
  18. I would like Luke Williams to start with what he believes is his best XI, then make changes as the game goes on. For example, removing Matt Palmer at the 35-minute mark would allow us to see if the club now has a replacement for him. I doubt this will happen, but swapping players in and removing others would be a big reveal for Notts.
  19. It's great to have you here, @JackMagpie95. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham!
  20. That's great! but even when you can just get on to add your thoughts, you will soon get into the swing of things. It's just nice to have new members joining in. Welcome to PON @nottsfan81.
  21. Andy Dallas would be a great addition to any League Two team. I think he would do well with a team that can create chances. The reason he struggled with Solihull Moors and Weymouth is their lack of direct threat. Solihull Moors are a good team, but Neal Ardley isnโ€™t an attacking-minded manager, and Weymouth were just poor.
  22. I think itโ€™s more unlikely than likely to happen. I think we would be looking for someone who can be more hands-on and without other commitments to businesses. I donโ€™t think the club will have rushed their process; I think itโ€™s one of those decisions that will take more time.
  23. I am your 10th blog follower; @TheSkipper. I will look out for your entries and make sure that I take a moment to leave you a comment.
  24. Until I watched this, I didnโ€™t know that he had started with Spurs or had even played for Portsmouth twice. He was a good player for his size; he had the skill of someone much more nimble, but it just goes to show that size wonโ€™t always hold you back. I thought Peter would have scored more goals with his head during his career, given his size, but it shows that he had great natural striking ability.
  25. I think itโ€™s about time the club showed us the full shirt. Thereโ€™s a rumoured one going around on social media which might be it, but I think itโ€™s important for the club to reveal them now. I think itโ€™s unfair for them to expect us to wait until closer to when Puma will deliver them; drumming up interest now might make people more open to buying them in advance.
