  2. Welcome @Jimbo78 enter the Lions den and enjoy all that is Notts County, with extras. 😀 👍 ⚽
  3. @Robbie @Wheelbarrow repair man @McPie gentlemen of the same ilk and hitting the proverbial nail on the head. Notts are renowned for their possession based, entertaining football and long may it last. There sure needs to be more emphasis on a tougher approach without losing sight of our principles, with eyes open during the January window to at least give all a pick me up. What's done is done for now and my thoughts are that keeping robust at the back, diligent in the middle of the pitch with more aggressive movement up front, coupled with positive work ethics will see us through to the new year. Let us look at learning lessons from our little misdemeanours and getting back on track looking forward only. COYP.
  4. @Fan of Big Tone, hope the removal goes nicely, PARDON 👂 Sorry to mention but the weather here in Dubai is lovely and sunny, about 32 degrees at the moment. Just finished a very nice breakfast and now time for some of that 🌞 I hope everyone is ok after a traumatised weekend, throwing away points again. Next up Crawley Town, chins up and let's go again. 😃 COYP
  5. @liampie No not in a cage, I think they must of removed from the several Sharks, their teeth 😬 Apparently the throne has something to do with Aquaman, I haven't a clue. Having a great time thank you. 😎
  6. May you find peace and comfort without any more pain, one brave and kind person. Go fly free now Angel. RIP.

  8. Hello to all you wonderful Pies from sunny Dubai. I had the best of all days yesterday (Tuesday the 9th) as I went into the giant Aquarium scuba diving with 9 different types of Shark (a couple of Big ones at that) and a plethora of rays, morey and electric eels, tuna and loads of other ones too many to count. I was totally overwhelmed with not only the amount of creatures but the size of the tank, enormous. One of the best 30 minutes of my life. 🐠🐡🐟🦭🐬🐋🦈
  9. The results from Dubai bound Pies. Bolton Wanderers 2 v 0 AFC Wimbledon Doncaster Rovers 1 v 1 Bradford City Cambridge United 1 v 2 Oldham Athletic Salford City 3 v 0 Tranmere Rovers🃏 Walsall 2 v 2 Chesterfield Forest Green Rovers 1 v 2 Hartlepool United Tamworth 0 v 2 Eastleigh Yeovil Town 2 v 2 York City Have a great weekend all. 😎👍⚽️
  10. I thought Scott Robertson had a good game, although a little overwhelmed at times by the quantity of Lincoln players surrounding him, just like the alamo. Alot of positives can be taken, as mentioned by @Robbie utilising Academy and fringe players to give them opportunity and giving players coming back from injury game time.
  11. This wonderful site, full of genuine people who selflessly give their time through thick and thin to keep everything on track deserve not only a pat on the back, but a big thank you for all their efforts and consistency with content. Count me in for a helping hand, keep up the good work, thank you. ⚽️🤠
  12. oooo nice! i hope you have a brilliant time in dubai. lets hope you go seeing notts claim 3 points. Thank you @liampie we will do our bestest, and 3 points would be a bonus. We return on the 18th so will also be back for Crawley at home. Also Mrs P hits the big 60 on the 21st and celebrations are now being prepared by our two sons, therefore another 3 points would be adding to the already prepared knee's up. 🥳👌⚽️ Then return to normality on the 22nd, where does time go?
  13. Here are the predictions from midshires. Blackburn Rovers 2 v 1 Norwich City Watford 0 v 2 Southampton Barnsley 1 v 1 Huddersfield Town Wigan Athletic 1 v 2 Stockport County Barnet 1 v 1 Colchester United Bromley 2 v 0 Harrogate Town Hartlepool United 2 v 1 Boreham Wood Morecambe 2 v 0 Woking 🃏
  14. A lovely weekend had with our two young granddaughters in Mablethorpe, not a raindrop in sight and a climax of pure blue sky yesterday. I also have had varifocals for the last few years and as @Robbie says, they don't take too long to get used to, and once that takes place you don't realise when wearing them and they become part of you. So @Fan of Big Tone dive in with open eyes. Back to work today (only for 4 days though) soon be the weekend. Then 5 days until Dubai for an 11 night break, can't wait. Will have to get a move on after the Fleetwood game to get to Heathrow Airport though and bed down for the night. Have a good day everyone. 😀
  15. All the best with the job interview @CliftonMagpie routine is something we can't do without. It's instilled into us from day one, for me it's an important part of my life, couldn't function without it. Having routine really helps where mental health is concerned also, easing day to day woes and worries. That is one reason I am still working at 68, it gives me a purpose which in turn schedules the day in advance making everything routine.
