  1. Thank you @theAnticlough and @Fan of Big Tone onwards and upwards from now on. What a beautiful morning especially as Mrs P has appointed me head stable boy 🙃 happy days.
  2. Today the first of April 2026, the shackles of work were removed and I am now free to enter into a long and positive future 😀 the world is now my playground, so beware Mad Mick is out to party 24/7. Not really, I'm just happy to forge and be in charge of my own destiny. 🖖 Live Long and Prosper. 👣

  4. Congratulations @Fan of Big Tone and Mrs T,what a fantastic achievement for you both. No mean feat 100,000 steps you should really be proud of yourselves and in only 30 days. Well done. 🥳
  5. Totally agree with @Fan of Big Tone and @menzinho the fact that Martin Patterson has grown into the job, giving that his pedigree wasn't in the top echelons to begin, he is certainly up there now. Guiding our sometimes luckless team (injuries ect) to where we are now, hovering over automatic promotion/playoffs, with all, including the backroom staff, giving every sinue of themselves to achieve the ultimate goal. Absolutely brilliant 👏 Whatever the outcome, you have to admire the attitude and effort put in overall to achieve something very special. Well done Martin and his Magpies.

  7. Welcome on board @ted beardsall may you enjoy the comradery and togetherness of the PON community. Believe in the Ferret. 🐾
  8. @Peter Craddock a jolly good welcome to our wonderful community of fanatical fans, from me and Freddie the Ferret. 🐾
  9. @Chris that all sounds scrummy and is making me hungry. My mum used to bake all sorts, from scones to jam tarts, and cheese, onion and potato pie, my absolute favourite with beans, and apple pies to die for. That's me being a little biased me thinks 🤔 What we need to know now is do you answer to Domino, whooo, hoo 🤣
  10. Hello all, great to hear @Fan of Big Tone is now having fun in one of my favourite places 😀 you can't beat fish and chips at the seaside. Keep enjoying my friend. Didn't realise @Chris you were a pastry and pudding chef, fruit crumbles, especially apple is my favourite, with loads of custard 😋 please. Great to hear that you are making good progress on the coding front, keep up the good work. 🖥️
  11. No Freddie the Ferret again as he is still boating in this beautiful weather. Charlton Athletic 1 v 2 Norwich City QPR 1 v 1 Portsmouth Stevenage 2 v 1 Reading Wigan Athletic 3 v 0 Exeter City Accrington Stanley 2 v 2 Chesterfield Shrewsbury Town1 v 0 Crewe Alexandra Altrincham 0 v 0 Southend United Yeovil Town 3 v 1 Morecambe With or without Freddie we do the business. 😁
  12. @Fan of Big Tone i hope you have a great time up on the East Coast. Love going up there myself, especially Whitby. Always feels like home to me. Fuel prices have jumped as you say @Robbie closely followed by food, gas and domestic oil. Where are these emergency billions of barrels that are supposed to be easing these rises?? The sun is now peeping from behind the clouds, looks like the day will be ending with a nice flurry of sunshine 🌞
  13. The whole team, including substitutes deserve a patt on the back for their endeavours last night. A great team performance with goals a plenty. We seemed to grow with confidence minute by minute and the movement and passing was sublime. All in all a great reaction following Saturday's debacle. That could of been the wake up call we needed to push towards a good run, finishing the season in style. COYP.
  14. No Freddie again I'm afraid, boating comes first in the week. ☹️ Watford 2 v 1 Wrexham Luton Town 1 v 0 Exeter City Plymouth Argyle 3 v 1 Stevenage Bristol Rovers 1 v 2 Shrewsbury Town Tranmere Rovers 2 v 0 Harrogate Town Walsall 1 v 2 Cambridge United Southend United 2 v 1 Rochdale Woking 0 v 1 Yeovil Town Midweek football is in the week ahead.
  15. And a jolly good morning to you all also. We have just had our annual service and MOT @Fan of Big Tone and pothole County cost us two new tyres, I hope your vehicle isn't so expensive. A beautiful morning here in the midshires with a bit of a chill to keep you on your toes. On top of the vehicle thing, I have been informed that the horses feet need a trim and the Farrier is due this morning at 08:30 so more expense. I don't think that i can afford to retire. I hope everyone has a great day 😀
