Good point @gtownjohnno Griffiths hasn't been given a chance since the time he impressed in the pre season games.- It Could Be Worse...
@Wheelbarrow repair man Listening to MP's post match presser he did seem to be frustrated that Notts haven't brought in additional players up to this point. I can understand his frustration because the Club have left it very late to get replacements in. I also think it's important to state that we still have players in the squad that MP hasn't given a chance to show what they can do like Will Jarvis, Mai Traoré, Jack Hinchy & Curtis Edwards.- Allasana Jatta Injured.
@Wheelbarrow repair man If Jatta goes to Mansfield he'd probably do quite well under Nigel Clough. Notts certainly need to make the right decision very quickly with the transfer window running out. I think Dennis could turn out to be an inspired signing. He just needs another fellow striker to either play behind him or in front of him or act as substitute when necessary if Jatta goes.- Where are they now : Geraldo Bajrami
Notts have certainly been unlucky with players suffering long term injuries over recent years. One player that has been particularly unlucky is Lucas Ness, who has showed us in glimpses that he is a useful defender with several good performances to his name, when he has had a chance to play.- It Could Be Worse...
I would consider putting Sam in goal as a temporary measure while the club can get a suitable experienced league 2 goalkeeper in. As you say @Wheelbarrow repair man Roos has had plenty of matches to settle in but it still appears that him and the Notts back line still don't look a coordinated unit yet. I would still be inclined to give Griffiths a chance. He did play reasonably well in the preseason games.- Allasana Jatta Injured.
@Wheelbarrow repair man I do hope that the rumours about Jatta aren't true & Notts can clinch a new deal with him to extend his contract just like Macca did. Extending his co tract with a sell on clause would suit both parties & would also increase Jatta's value. I think it is inevitable that Jatta will leave at some point, but Notts could protect their interests by agreeing a contract extension.- NL Top 4
I agree @Wheelbarrow repair man Enzio was a bit of an enigma at ML.- Weather Updates

- Trouble brewing across the river?
@Fan of Big Tone so what are your views on the subject at hand then? It would be interesting to read your views on it seeing you posted the news of it. Enquiring minds would like to know.- Match Discussion: League Two - Bromley FC (A)

A great individual goal by Dennis set up by Goalkeeper Roos.- Trouble brewing across the river?
As far as trouble over the river is concerned, I am sure the Forest owner will do what is best for his club. He has invested a lot of his own money & has turned the fortunes of his club around for the better. Nuno has certainly done a good job for him, but Managers do come & go especially in the top leagues. We'll have to see what transpires, but I do think the press are making a lot of any possible disagreement over there. As far as I'm concerned I don't wish the Forest any Ill will. Some of my distant relatives support the club & we try to discuss both our clubs with mutual respect when we all meet. I also have friends that support Mansfield & we treat our discussions exactly the same. But my absolute main focus is on the Club that I've supported for so long & will continue to support through thick and thin. I do hope that one day, hopefully in the near future, Notts can meet either one of them, whether it be league or Cup & we can beat them both once again. That would be something to brag about.- Who's your Man of the Match v Bromley?
Only one player deserves the Notts Man of the Match award & that is Matt Dennis for a great performance today as a lone striker.- Match Discussion: League Two - Bromley FC (A)

If team wants aspirations for success in this league they have to deal with the physicality of this league. They have to cut out conceding sloppy goals, & they should ensure they make the game safe before going on the defensive.- Match Discussion: League Two - Bromley FC (A)
I want to try to remain positive, but just one win in their first six matches, & albeit a win against the worse team in the league, doesn't give one confidence for our prospects this season. This game was a marker for me how Notts stand at the moment against other decent sides in League 2 & it would have been a good marker to beat a decent side like Bromley. In the first half Notts played well & Matt Dennis for me was a revelation & we could easily be watching a 20 goal a season man, the way he's started the campaign. He's a big positive. In the second half Notts were poor and the substitutions didn't help the Notts flow. I got the impression that Notts were settling for a 2-1 win which is very dangerous against a side like Bromley. The Bromley equaliser was inevitable the way the game was going & it just had to be a scrappy goal too. I still think that it was two points lost instead of one point gained.Notts. Notts should have won this match for their first half performance, but were punished by a decent side for sloppy defending. Notts need a striker, a goalkeeper & a playmaker.- Who's your Man of the Match v Bromley?
Notts have to settle for a draw against Bromley after leading twice with two goals from Matt Dennis. It was a game of two halves with Notts on the ascendancy in the first half, & Bromley better in the second half. So who do you think should get the PON Man of the Match award for Notts? I have chosen the starting eleven for you all to make that choice. The starting 11 are. Roos, McDonald, Aljofree, Bedeau, Norburn, Jones, Iorpenda, Palmer Dennis, Tsaroula, Cotter. - Wordle
