  1. We have three Notts teams from the North of the County that have made the United Counties Division 1 playoffs. Step 10 of the football pyramid. They all have an opportunity to be promoted to the United Counties Premier Division, (step 9) Retford FC, Retford United & Clipstone FC
  2. Worksop Town have secured 2nd place to Macclesfield in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, & have an excellent chance of being promoted to National League North via the playoffs. Northern Premier League, Premier Division, top five with one game to play. (Top five positions secured) Playoffs. 2nd plays fifth & third plays fourth. Winners from the semi finals play at the highest rated team's home ground in the final.
  3. Weather 4cast for Tuesday.
  4. @Chris I searched for a connection but only found this. The search results indicate several connections between Draper & Long Eaton United. Firstly, Mark Draper, a former professional footballer, was born in Long Eaton. He played for various clubs, including Leicester City, Aston Villa, and Southampton. Secondly, there's a reference to a Jamie Draper playing for Coventry Sphinx and playing against Long Eaton United. Thirdly, Danny Draper scored a goal for Wellingborough Town in a match against Long Eaton United. Source Google. Looks like there are only loose connection, but someone else may know different.
  5. Congratulations to Long Eaton United. Good luck in the playoffs.
  6. Why not just get behind the Notts team till the end of the season? Notts still have 2 more games to go in the regular season, maybe three more if they make the playoffs. The playoffs are still in Notts hands. In my opinion, criticism should be left till the season is over.
  7. Update. Update. Update.. The bad light hasn't improved so the match has been called off & declared a draw.
  8. Let's hear from Stuart Maynard.
  9. Notts were very unlucky to lose this match today. Hitting the woodwork twice & conceding two late goals. I have chosen the eleven Notts players who started the match from who to choose your man of the match. Those players are Bass, Bedeau, Platt, McDonald, Grant, Palmer, Abbott, Gordon, Traoré, Jatta, McGoldrick Please choose you Man of the Match & tell us why you chose him.
  10. Notts were very unlucky today, hitting the woodwork twice, & had plenty of chances in the match. Notts still have a playoff place in their hands. Only two teams out of the top eleven won. Still more twists and turns for all those clubs during these last two matches they all have to play.
  11. In the afternoon matches only two of the top eleven teams won, Doncaster & Salford.
  12. FULL TIME. Defeat at the Lane. Mark Stallard: "We are now looking at how likely is it we don't get a play-off place"
  13. Update. Goal Cheltenham
