  1. I'm pleased that Maynard was appointed. Stuart has done ok & Notts have improved since Stuart was given the job.
  2. One of the worse examples of shrinking the product but increasing the price was found during an investigation by "Which" This was Listerine Fresh Burst mouthwash, which shrank from 600ml to 500ml - but the price for this product rose by 52 p in Tesco. This meant that shoppers paid 21% more for 17% less. When compared to the unit price per 100ml, this was a price increase of 46%. "Source Daily Mirror via Google"
  3. Another lovely Sunny day here Mansfield. It was a little chilly this morning but is warm in the Sun. Just sitting out in the garden with the Mrs. Watered the plants this morning then completed our 10,000 steps before lunch. Looks like we've got this lovely Weather till Sunday night. Showers forecast for Monday.
  4. Final League table for this season. Nottingham Panthers finish third. The end of season playoffs awaits.
  5. Your Weather 4cast for Tuesday
  6. It didn't work out well for Leicester when the got rid of Steve Cooper.
  7. Cadbury has admitted to making their chocolate bars smaller, saying it was a "a last resort". Chocolate lovers are upset after they saw that their favourite treats have shrunk. Cadbury got a question on X from someone who wondered why their Wispa bar was so tiny. Source Google.
  8. League 2 Midweek fixtures. Tuesday 8th April 07:45 pm Kick off. Chesterfield 1 - 1 Gillingham Thursday 10th April 8:00 pm Kick off Crewe 2 - 3 Cheltenham Friday 11th April 07:45 Kick off Notts 1 - 3 Salford
  9. Turning cloudier and cooler for some for the week ahead.
  10. Tea has been taken. Durham are 289 all out Notts require 89 runs from 40 overs to win the match.

  12. Latest Premier League table.
  13. It's another fantastic start to the day today. Where has all this sun come from? Not complaining. Just soaking it all up. I'm actually getting a tan using my factor 50. Been for another walk, 8000 steps today. Feeling much fitter since I've uped the milage once again.
  14. The poll is now closed. Thanks to all of you who voted l. I am pleased to announce that Nick Tsaroulla has been voted the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match against Colchester. Well done Nick.
  15. Probably, but with the number of injuries that Notts have suffered over the season it was always going to be tough. However th playoffs beckon if we can get 2 wins and a few draws from the final 5 games.
  16. Dissapointing defeat on the road. I think we deserved a point on the road. Tef wasn't up to much.
  17. Lost of players injured as of 06/04/25 1.Scott Robertson. 2.Lucas Ness 3. Sam Austin 4. Rod McDonald 5. Alex Bass 6.George Abbott Six players out every week on average has been an unfortunate negative constant this season. It will arguably have cost Notts an automatic promotion spot by the season's end. Stuart has done well to juggle his squad to keep Notts as competitive as possible despite the number of injuries.
