Fans Voices.
To be honest I don't think the football authorities listen to the fans enough. I think it is more about what the powers that be want rather than what the fans want. Take the shenanigans over the super league. Yes, it is true that the fans were against a super league being set up. But I don't think that was the deciding factor, for those elite teams to row back from doing it. I don't think they were too keen on it themselves. I think it was more to do with those elite clubs wanting more power and influence over football, & I think they certainly got that. The FA, for instance, were keen not to rock the boat so much. Look how they caved to those clubs by abolishing FA Cup replays to the detriment of small clubs. The only way Supporters may get more influence & get their word across, is if they can get a place on the board of each professional club in the land, & a place on the FA, PL, & EFL. Even then, will they listen?

Weekly Chat Mon 11th - Sun 17th November
Well members of PON it's been a lovely morning here with unbroken sunshine after days and days of murky weather. Been quite busy today, took the food order from the wife & did the shopping this morning. Sometimes it's nice to go around the supermarket rather than getting the food delivered. After an early lunch the wife wanted the windows cleaning, so out with the step ladder, bucket & leather. I must say we both did a great job too. Tomorrow I plan to get out into the garden & prune away the last remaining flowers left standing. No rain forecast for tomorrow so hopefully I can get the planned work done.

are we as fans guilty of being too critical at times?
There will always be those fans that won't be satisfied with the team no matter if they are top of the league or unbeaten. Take just now, Notts are third in the league, unbeaten away this season with just two narrow defeats at home. Another added factor that makes Notts current position a great achievement is that it has been done with so many injuries to key players. But if you look on social media you'd think the team were third from bottom & playing terrible. Unfortunately no matter what the team does it will never satisfy some. It actually says more about those complaining than it does the team. Some people just look at a glass half empty rather than a glass half full.

I get goosebumps when I hear Land of Hope & Glory. Rule Britannia Jerusalem, the National Anthem, & The Last Post. As for getting emotional. One of the best endings of a film. Ben Hur. That last scene is awesome when Ben Hur discovers his mother & sister are cured from the Leprosy. And the final scene from Saving Private Ryan, when Tom Hank's Captain Miller dying words to Private Ryan, "Earn This, earn it" And LIstening to Handel's Messiah- Weekly Chat Mon 11th - Sun 17th November
Don't give up @Fan of Big Tone it's a good thread to have going. With a thread like this you can talk about anything.- They Love Notts in Brazil
Great Portuguese commentary of the Notts goal against Doncaster. Love the passion.- Four Defeats In A Row For Pep Guardiola
I think Pep was one of the leading figures who pushed to get FA Cup replays abolished from the first round onwards. And you may be right @Wheelbarrow repair man who says the best Head Coaches are in the PL? I think only the footballing establishment think that.- Who is your Man of the match v Doncaster?
The Poll has now closed. Thank you to all who voted. It was a great all round performance by the team & it was difficult to select a shortlist. I am pleased to announce the Pride of Nottingham Man of the Match for his outstanding performance against Doncaster is George Abbott.- Four Defeats In A Row For Pep Guardiola
Oh dear @Wheelbarrow repair man Pep wants even less games for City.- Post Match Interview| Adam Dunleavy| Lincoln City
Great win by the Notts ladies today. Four goals and a clean sheet is just what the manager wanted. He must be absolutely delighted with a great all round performance which gives Notts their fifth win of the season.- Alassana Jatta's Ambitions for Notts County: Eyes on Double or Triple Digits
Alassana Jatta has been a brilliant signing for Notts. He is an all round striker, good with his head, can hold up play for his colleagues, can be in the right place at the right time in the box to score at close range, & can take a through ball & has the pace to score one on one. This gives Stuart Maynard lots of options & it also allows him to change Notts style of play if it becomes necessary during a game He thoroughly deserves his call up by his national team, & I wish him luck, & hope that he can score a goal or two for the Gambia.- Matchday 10: Notts County Women v Lincoln City..

Great performance in the first half. Defended well in the second half. Jatta is a baller. What a great signing he was, as well as Alex Bass, and George Abbott. And Brown is getting better every match too. Satisfied with a point- Matchday 10: Notts County Women v Lincoln City..
