  2. Pep says that Man City will struggle to win the treble this season.
  3. I think that it is becoming a cause for concern that we have eight injured players on the treatment table. Whether it stems from rough treatment by the opposition, training methods or modern day footballers getting tired much easily nowadays. It is not just happening at Notts but other clubs up and down the league have the same issues. Eight players out of the squad is a very big number & a large number such as this brings the academy players into play too. But the fit players available now have to step up to the plate & make a play themselves for a place in the starting eleven, once these injured player's return.
  4. Choose to see it as good, & it is good. Choose to see it as bad, & it is bad.
  5. Anymore football funnies @Wheelbarrow repair man?
  6. Mourinho is always known for speaking his mind & telling all & sundry how it is. He certainly gets the headlines & people sit up & listen when he speaks. He's one of those one off managers that come around ever so often & you will either love him or loathe him. When he gets upset, he really does go for it & it looks no different here. Whether he's regretting the appointment or not, I will be surprised if he is still working in Turkey by the end of the week, but of course, I may be wrong. The guy is certainly an entertainer. Something that is sadly lacking in the vast majority of football managers today.
  7. Alex Bass, Matty Platt, Lewis Macari, & Jacob Bedeau must be one of the best defensive units in the division at present, but it will be a tough job to keep Doncaster Rovers at bay this Saturday. Can the super four continue to stay firm?
  8. Update on the development of human like Robots.
  9. I'm hoping that we will get some good news on the injury front from Stuart when he faces the press pre Doncaster. I'm expecting that McGoldrick, Crowley & Austin will be available for Doncaster, but we will have to see.
  10. Jevani is going to be an important player for Notts leading up to the new year. I hope that he will only get better for Notts.
  11. Happy Birthday Les. One of our own
  12. Another grey and murky start to the day on Wednesday.
  13. When all is said and done the problem with Football is money, two much of it belongs to the top six clubs & not enough gets filtered down the football tier. Until that changes in any mean full way. Nothing will change.
  14. What we have in common is better than what we don't”
  15. Well my fellow PON Members. That is the question. Can Notts get Promotion in 2025? Notts have made a great start & with a quarter of the season completed they sit in 3rd position in the table on 26 points, with just 2 losses in 14 matches. Notts have shown improvements in the defensive area that has seen them only concede 12 goals in the league, which is less than 1 goal a game on average. Notts have continued to demonstrate, that although they lost Langstaff before the beginning of the season, they haven't lost their potency up front, with 22 goals scored in the league up to now. Notts have all the all round attributes to make a challenge this season, & it is entirely possible that a team with 90 points could get automatic promotion, Notts are well on the way. I think it is possible for Notts to get automatic promotion this year. They do have some tough games coming up this month, starting at Doncaster. If they can get through these tough matches this month with a reasonable points tally, & get some of their best players back from injury in January, the promotion charge will be on. Thoughts?
  16. Nice to see Jevani Brown make it in the FA Cup Team of the Week.

  18. @Wheelbarrow repair man l looked on Google to see what Ryan Giggs is currently doing and he is down as Director of Football at Salford City, so I'm not sure what's happening. And he was in the Dugout for Salford City for their win the other day against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup, so It all seems a little confusing somewhat. But he does have huge ties to Man Utd, so anything happening there will surely interest him.
