Head Coaches have input with the type of players that they want & the positions that need filling. Head Coaches & recruiters rightly take the plaudits when things go right, & the players that have been recruited settle well, & play to the standard expected, & the team is performing well as a result. But alternatively, if things don't go to plan & players either haven't been brought in, or players that should have been let go but were mistakingly retained, or players that were brought in but haven't performed, & as a result the team performs poorly, then it is right that the Head Coach & recruiters should be admonished or possibly lose their jobs, if the team doesn't improve.

Pensioners will also be in for very nasty shock with this terrible Government.

Your Tuesday Afternoon Weather

Good afternoon. It's been another cloudy morning here, more rain overnight too. I can't remember when we didn't have a bout of overnight rain. It's becoming the norm at the moment. At the moment it's a balmy 15 deg here. I thought I had mowed the last cut of grass but the lawn is still growing, so it may need another one. Mr Mole has been hard at work too. Our apple tree is sprouting some NEW leaves. We have Daffodil & Crocus plants shooting too. They will all get a shock when we get some cold weather arriving. I must say the colour of the leaves are much more akin to the colour of leaves that can be seen in more southern climes with the Mulder weather.

I was sorry to see Cal leave Notts when he did. I always used to enjoy watching him play. Cal seems to be in good form & he's having a new lease of footballing life at Scunthorpe. He appears to have got over his injuries which plagued him for a while. If I were the Notts owners I'd put in a cheeky offer for him in January..He's just the type of Skilful player that Notts could do with on that right hand side.

European Cup winner Gary Mills played for Forest, Notts twice & Alfreton Town. Gary played two periods for Notts. 1987/89, 75 app, 8 goals & 1994/96, 47 app, 0 goals. In his second spell at Notts he won his last trophy as a player, the Anglo Italian Cup 1995.

A very interesting subject & thread @TheSkipper I believed that there is just one Universe with no end to it, with countless galaxies that together make up the Universe. Well that's what I've been taught when I was at school & until reading this article, I have never really gave it much thought. We saw on programmes like Star Trek that a possibility of a positive & negative universe could exist or even a universe in another dimension that we can see but is all around us. But going back to the Universe, what would be a Universe to the smallest living organism, the microbe Nanoarchaeum equitans, which is 200 to 500 nanometers (billionth of a metre) in diameter. So the possibility of a entire space within a space is entirely possible I suppose we can't rule anything out when it comes to science. New things are being discovered all the time.
