  1. Update. Substitutions for Notts.
  2. Back underway. CMON U PIES!!
  3. As Manager of Blackpool, Ian Holloway got Blackpool promoted to the Premier League from the Championship in 2010. He nearly got them Promoted back to the Premier League in 2012 when they got to the playoffs final but lost to West Ham. Of course Managers have lows in the course of a career, however good Managers have highs too, & getting a team such as Blackpool to the PL was quite an achievement.
  4. Lots of work to do for the Notts Ladies in the 2nd half.
  5. Update. A third goal for the hosts in first half injury time.
  6. Update. Another goal to the hosts just before half time.
  7. It was a brilliant performance from beginning to end by the whole Notts team on Saturday. From the defence, through the midfield to the attacking players it was a five star display for me. Notts deserved much more than the one goal, but when the team is solid at the back as Notts are these days they only needed the one. As Stuart Maynard stated, Jatta could easily have had a hat trick & he was particularly pleased with the performances of Brown & Martin who both played from the start. The only concern after such a good result is the number of injuries, however the squad players stepped up to the plate & that's encouraging. On to the FA Cup game against Alfreton. I expect some changes for that game.
  8. Update. Update. Update. The hosts take the lead
  9. The Notts team today. Here we go. The match has started.
  10. Your Sunday Afternoon Weather
  11. @DangerousSausage why are you writing Ian off without seeing how his new team performs over the next ten matches? I don't see Luke Williams doing all that well at Swansea since his move from the Magpies, but it did work for him at Notts This may be a good move for Swindon. Let's wait & see before we judge too quickly.
  12. Just a reminder that the Man of the Match Poll closes at 9pm tonight.
  13. Very nearly the goal of the season. Didzy so close.
  14. Notts have a good away record this season after 7 away matches, winning 3, drawing 4, losses 0 & have scored 12 goals & conceded only 7. At the same period last season they had won 2, drawn 3, lost 2, scored 12 goals & conceded 13 So these stats are just another example of much better away form this season under Maynard.
  15. Ratings for the players against Harrogate.
  16. Beating Harrogate 1:0 was Notts's 5th clean sheet of the league season in 14 matches.
  17. Jatta was a great signing for Notts in January. He's forming a good goalscoring partnership with McGoldrick.
  18. Great win. Just demonstrates how strong the Notts squad is nowadays. Hopefully, the extra time before the next league match, due to the next game being an FA Cup match, will allow some of the injured players to recover.
  19. It's Matchday. CMON U PIES!!!
  20. It's going to be a cold one tonight.
  21. Notts County Women travel to Boldmere St Michaels Women F.C. on Saturday. This will be a tight game but a winnable one for Notts ladies. Both teams sit in mid table so they will be evenly matched.
  22. Well taken goal from Jatta. He really is on a roll.
