@BiggestPieInGlasgow I see Dumbarton have now raised nearly £95k from their go fund me page. Any more news from up there about their immediate future. I see they lost today.

@BiggestPieInGlasgow I agree. It was a surprise when he went to MK Dons, but he's not expected to do much defensive duty there, so I think he's much happier. Under Luke Williams it was the same but Maynard is more defensive minded.

I think that Matt's extension of contract is very significant & sends out a message that Notts want to keep hold of their best players. I'm sure that the Notts fans would love to see Dan Crowley put pen to paper too. We will just have to see what develops as far as Dan is concerned after the new year.

I think someone will be having the scoreboards regularly checked now.

The Club has made the right decision to postpone the match. The safety of spectators has to come first. It may be a blessing in disguise for Notts, because it will give all those injured players, & the ones returning, another week of recovery & training, to come back stronger against Salford. It may be the case that Notts will drop out of the top six today due to this postponement, but they will have a game in hand of course.

Your Saturday Afternoon Weather

Jack has done a good job for Stuart whenever he's been called upon. He's put in some steady performances from the centre of midfield, without getting the limelight. He played his best match for Notts against Walsall. He's young and the first team experience will have done him a power of good. He's a good prospect for Notts.

Latest on Storm Darragh

We didn't get an alert here although we do have an amber alert in place. I suppose the alarm is for a red alert, but that only applies to Wales at the moment.

Late into the evening, the rain is pouring down here and the wind's picking up a lot. We've already had some strong gusts too. Will be hoping that the storm can pass without major incident in the North Nottinghamshire area. There is a flood alert out for Mansfield so will see how that develops. The River Maun has been known to flood some parts of Mansfield at times when there is prolonged heavy rain. Hope the strong winds don't affect that match too much on Saturday afternoon. Strong winds won't suit Notts too much, but I guess it will be the same for both sides so fingers crossed.

Jack Hinchy is a good prospect for Notts. He has done a very good job for Stuart Maynard in the central midfield area when he has been called upon. It was great to see Jack get his debut goal for Notts on Tuesday. I am sure that we will see Jack feature much more for Notts when Stuart calls on him, whether in the starting eleven or from the bench.
