  4. The Poll has now closed. Thank you to all of you that voted. Eight of the Nine Players on the shortlist were given at least a vote by PON members reflecting the great performance by the Notts team on Saturday. I am delighted to announce that Nick Tsaroulla has been chosen as your Pride of Nottingham Man of the Match for his excellent performance against Harrogate. This win makes it two consecutive PON Man of the Match wins for Nick.
  5. I'm pleased that Brown had a good match for Notts on Saturday. Lots of fans were unsure of him when he came to Notts on a short time contract. However, Jevani has settled into the Notts system very well, & I am sure in the coming weeks he's going to play a big part for Notts. He almost got an assist to one of the best goals of the season, if Didzy had scored after Jevani's fantastic pass. Stuart Maynard was delighted with his performance & the hope is, Javani can now build on the confidence he's gained, & will score some goals for Notts in the coming games.
  6. Like I said @DangerousSausage I believe the guy should be judged by his results for Swindon. They got a creditable draw against Gillingham so that's a reasonable start for him. Things didn't work out at Grimsby, but that was then. Now he has a chance to do a good job for them & I hope he does.
  7. A much better second half by the Notts ladies, but it ends in defeat today
  8. Update. Substitution for Notts. Update.
  9. Update. More substitutions for Notts.

  11. Back underway. CMON U PIES!!
  12. As Manager of Blackpool, Ian Holloway got Blackpool promoted to the Premier League from the Championship in 2010. He nearly got them Promoted back to the Premier League in 2012 when they got to the playoffs final but lost to West Ham. Of course Managers have lows in the course of a career, however good Managers have highs too, & getting a team such as Blackpool to the PL was quite an achievement.
  13. Lots of work to do for the Notts Ladies in the 2nd half.
  14. Update. A third goal for the hosts in first half injury time.
  15. Update. Another goal to the hosts just before half time.
  16. It was a brilliant performance from beginning to end by the whole Notts team on Saturday. From the defence, through the midfield to the attacking players it was a five star display for me. Notts deserved much more than the one goal, but when the team is solid at the back as Notts are these days they only needed the one. As Stuart Maynard stated, Jatta could easily have had a hat trick & he was particularly pleased with the performances of Brown & Martin who both played from the start. The only concern after such a good result is the number of injuries, however the squad players stepped up to the plate & that's encouraging. On to the FA Cup game against Alfreton. I expect some changes for that game.
  17. Update. Update. Update. The hosts take the lead
  18. The Notts team today. Here we go. The match has started.
  19. Your Sunday Afternoon Weather
