I wonder if we will see James Sanderson feature against Northampton tonight?

Good Morning, It's overcast again this morning here. There's rain on the windows, & the ground is wet. We've had the proverbial overnight rain once again Glad that I did some work in the garden yesterday. Hurricane Milton is threatening Florida & the track puts it going right through the middle of Florida.It has already been one of the strongest Hurricanes ever with sustained wins of over 180mph at one point. It's weakened temporarily, but expected to become a Cat 5 again as it crosses warm gulf waters.

Can never understand why a young goalkeeper with potential talent was let go by Notts. He certainly seems to be doing the business for Gateshead. I think Notts have made a big mistake by not keeping him on the books, even if he were loaned out to get match time.

School boy errors but we've seen plenty of them at Notts last season Every league tier in Europe have strong teams and weak teams, I don't think that it is entirely down the the standard of the leagues as a whole. It's just a case of some poor teams that can't compete with the richer teams. We see that here, & I'm sure it's the same across Europe.

This is an important topic. I think it is important to follow other members, who's posts one finds interesting. There are so many great & interesting posts on PON. My advice would be to read as many as your time allows really. I try to read as much content as I can if I have the time or if the site is a little slow, like today for instance As new members have joined since this topic was first posted, it's important for the newbies to know all this stuff too.

Why can't they just put some money in trust for these players until they reach 21 so they will be more mature to deal with a large sum of money? They could still pay these young player's a reasonable gratuity until they reach that age. Trouble is, other clubs will be touting for these young players & are in direct competition with each other & the player goes to the highest bidder

Update from Stuart today McDonald & Ness will feature in the game against Northampton, so will Brown, Martin & Reynolds. Ness will get his first minutes for Notts in his quest to build up his fitness. Stuart thinks highly of him, so it will be interesting to see how he performs. Expect more academy players to feature too. So it will be a mixture of first teamers, squad players & academy players in the team Tuesday.

Update Jodi Jones. Out till at least January 25. Curtis Edwards. Out till at least January 25. Conor Grant. Knee injury, six weeks out minimum David McGoldrick. Sore hamstrings. Lucas Ness will play against Northampton Tuesday evening according to Stuart Maynard today.
