I'm surprised we haven't had a pre Barrow interview from Stuart, however I suppose he'd rather do without it on a midweek game.

Your Friday Evening Weather

Lots of concerns about this development. The league systems are based on home and away matches. Home teams have the advantage because home fans will be the vast majority of the crowd. Away fans would enjoy the trip to Barcelona, but would be in less numbers. How are fans going to travel all the way to Miami. Not many if any. And what about the season ticket holders of Barcelona, who will be in their tend of thousands. Will they be compensated for the game they won't be able to attend? Probably not. So what if it finishes up with these top teams playing half their matches abroad in the future. What about the fans of those clubs? It looks like this development could open up a massive can of worms. How could they be selling season tickets if half the matches are somewhere else?

My Mum was a (50s heartthrob) Guy Michell fan. We had lots of his records including, "Singing the blues", "Heartaches by the number" " My Heart Cries for you" We had lots of Nat King Cole records too, so I was familiar with quite a few 50s singers & their songs, like Perry Como In my teenage years I think that why I rebelled & became a heavy rock fan. But now I like all sorts of music , even classical.

Your Tuesday Afternoon Weather

So it looks like we are going to see a La Liga match played in Miami USA to generate plenty of cash for Barcelona & Atletico Madrid & god knows who else. Will this lead to the likes of Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd & Arsenal doing a similar thing & play some of their games in Cities across the World? I'm sure that supporters wouldn't like this development. Trouble is, the loyal supporter is the last group that the top clubs would think about when there's money to be made. Thought's?

Good Morning. It's a nice morning here with some sunny spells, but a little chilly. Just had a food delivery. Does save a lot of time rather than going to the super store. Looking forward to the match tonight. Will be listening on the Radio, & hoping Notts can get a positive result.

@Wheelbarrow repair man My cousin was 11 years older than me, she was an Everly Brothers, Dion, & Buddy Holly fan, she liked Elvis too. I was only four at the time, but when we visited my Aunt, my cousin, she'd put her record player on & I'd listen to all of them. I Soon knew the words off by heart, Cathy's Clown, Bye Bye Love, Runaround Sue, Can't help falling in love, True love ways, & many more.

If you asked me to rate Alex out of 10 since the beginning of the season, I would say he is growing into his role & I believe he is improving all the time. I think he has the potential of becoming our best keeper since Kasper Schmeichel. I would rate him 8/10 since the beginning of the season. Notts now have an excellent defensive line, but a side also needs a goalkeeper who can command his area, deal with crosses, a good shot stopper & good at distributing the ball. Bass has all those qualities.

Totally agree with you @Wheelbarrow repair man This Country & the people within it, have fought against tyrants all through it's history from Queen Boudica to PM Churchill.. I believe that we should celebrate our history, & all those great events should be taught in our schools, so that new generations can celebrate them too.

219 years ago today, the British Navy, under the Command of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson, defeated a combined French & Spanish Navy at Trafalgar.. The victory secured British dominance of the sea for the next 120 years. Should we continue to celebrate this day in history? I believe we should.

Your Monday Evening Weather

I think this game will need a similar performance from Notts that we saw against Wimbledon. Notts need to show their grit & determination to get another positive result I think we will see a few changes from the team that faced Wimbledon. I think that we will only see one striker starting against Barrow. So my first 11 team would be:- Bass McDonald, Platt, Bedeau. Tsaroulla, Palmer, Hinchy, Abbott. Crowley, Austin, Jatta. Subs, Robertson, Cundy, Slocombe, Reynolds, Martin, McGoldrick, Cisse. I've chosen the youngsters, Reynolds & Cisse, because they have impressed in the cup games. It does look a more defensive line up, however we have been seeing that in away matches this season. Stuart may even rest McGoldrick & replace him with Brown on the bench I'd be happy with a draw or a narrow win. CMON U PIES

Good afternoon. We have cloudy skies here but it has been dry all morning with the forecast saying we might get some Sunny intervals later. It will have to be quick because the sun goes down just before 5pm today We have both been busy this morning, out in the garden first thing for a couple of hours mowing the lawn, weeding & removing dead flowers. It was nice to do about three hours out there. Hopefully that might be the last cut before winter. Now it's time to relax with a nice cup of tea & biscuits. Any plans for this afternoon? Not really, just sitting down & going to have a relaxing afternoon. Plan to go out tomorrow morning & remove our dying prairie flowers that have held on quite well this year.
