  1. Your Weather forecast for Friday Morning
  2. Day two of the match between Notts & Surrey resumes at 11am with Surrey on 339 for 5. Can Notts make early breakthroughs?
  3. Last words from Manager Adam Dunleavy after the Cup Match. He couldn't be more proud of the Notts players for their effort against a very good team.
  4. @liampie the new fella will possibly be on the bench. He's very versatile and could fit into several different positions, so he'll be very useful.T The only concern would be, can he cope with the physicality of league 2?
  5. Looks to me that Stuart is putting lots of emphasis on to the defensive side of Notts's game. Notts will seemingly be well loaded in defense & defensive midfield areas. I wonder if Stuart is toying with having Jodi & Dan partnering as attacking midfielders, with players like Tsaroulla & Abbott on each flank, & Jatta upfront? Palmer & Edwards making up the rest of the midfield. The squad is strong with plenty of good cover to come on when needed. Just another striker needed if Notts can get one at this late stage
  6. @liampie If Notts Women can improve from last season and finish mid table this time around, that would be a very positive outcome.
  7. Notts women battled gamely but were hit by 6 second half goals from a very good Forest side that are firm favourites to get promoted to the Championship this season. Notts holding Forest to 0:0 at half time is very encouraging for the rest of the season. Final Score. Forest 6 Notts Women 0
  8. He will probably play right wing back. He's a versatile player & that will suit Notts.
  9. Three quick goals for Forest. Forest 4 Notts Women 0 78 mins gone
  10. Let's hear from George Abbott.
  11. Forest take the lead. Forest 1 Notts Women 0 57 mins gone.
  12. Back underway for the second half. Forest 0 Notts Women 0
  13. Great performance by Notts in the first half to hold Forest to 0:0 at half time. Forest Women have gone professional for this season. Half Time. Forest 0 Notts Women 0
  14. More on George Abbott. Abbott is a versatile player who is primarily a defensive midfielder. He can also play along the backline, & broke out in the 2022–23 season as a right-back. He is a tenacious player with good pace and skill on the ball, and can cover a lot of ground on the pitch. Notts could play him at right back, or defensive midfield. Looks like he's a versatile player. Spurs fans like him.
  15. "Tottenham Hotspur’s Under 21s captain, George Abbott, has joined Notts on a season-long loan. The 19 year-old midfielder arrives at Meadow Lane having been heavily involved in Spurs’ first-team summer preparations, featuring in their pre-season friendlies against Bayern Munich, QPR and Vissel Kobe" "Source Notts website".

  20. Stumps on Day 1. Surrey are 339 for 5. Surrey end the day losing three wickets in the final session to a Notts 16 year old on his Championship debut., taking 4 for 69. A day to remember for him. Remember the name Farhan Ahmed.
