  1. @Wheelbarrow repair man Trouble is nowadays, it is a squad game. Notts have brought in players themselves during this transfer window that will be squad players, unless they can prove that they deserve to be in the starting 11. It will be probably the same at Millwall. Macca has to prove himself, but 20 minutes isn't a good start for him. I was expecting him to play at least 45 minutes.
  2. @Wheelbarrow repair man I'm not sure that they see Macca as their number one striker at the moment. Just 20 minutes game time tonight against Forest tells me that others are in front of him in the pecking order. How many times have we seen a bigger club sign a lower league player with a good reputation only to stick him on the bench, then loan him out. I really do hope that doesn't happen to Macca.
  3. @Wheelbarrow repair man We know Macca is a very good striker at league 2 level. He has to try to prove himself at Championship level. We have to remember that Macca had excellent players around him that could supply him with those opportunities to score, Jodi, Dan, Aaron, John, Didzy, & Ruben all played their part to set up Macca, & Macca did the rest. Will Macca get the supply he needs to impress at Millwall? The jury is out on that one.
  4. So a 20 minute run out for Macca, Millwall scored a goal after Macca came on but lost 1:2. Hard to tell if Macca is going to get some regular playing time in his new team. Hope he won't be warming the subs bench match after match. Will the grass be greener for Macca at Millwall? We will have to see.
  5. Macca on for the last 20 minutes of the match against Forest. Let's see if he can make a difference for Millwall who are 0:2 down at the moment.
  6. Macca's Millwall are playing Forest in a preseason friendly in Spain tonight. Macca is not in Millwall's starting 11 but is one of their substitutes. Will keep an eye on his progress.
  7. Our old way of life will be gone forever': The tenant farmers targeted by solar developers https://news.sky.com/story/life-would-never-be-the-same-again-the-tenant-farmers-targeted-by-solar-developers-13073003 Complete utter madness going on with our farms while they are shutting down our last coal power station.

  9. So here we go. The players I've picked are possibly not all the best individual players available, but I've picked a team that I think would be successful. In goal. Kasper Schmeichel Right back. Charlie Palmer Centre back. Dean Yates Centre back. Brian Kilcline Left back. Ray O'Brien Midfield. Don Masson Midfield. Mark Draper Midfield. Ruben Rodriguez Left wing.Jodi Jones Right Wing Ian McParland Forward. Tony Hateley Sub, Macaulay Langstaff. The side would line up 4/3/3
  10. We all have an idea of our favourite all time great Notts player that we have seen or heard of. But what would be your ultimate Notts team if you could choose your best players either from the players you saw, or who you heard of and read about? I'm sure we will have our favourites. There are so many to choose from, and we will all have our own ideas of which Notts players to put in that team. So I will allow eleven players and one substitute. You can have any formation you like so long as the side is balanced. Good luck.
  11. Ian's story is a story of true dedication & inspiration. And what a great story to have had the opportunity to commentate at Wembley for the team that he loves. Ian's story is a true reflection too of the pride and the passion of supporting your football club during the ups as well as the downs. Despite his wife's illness his dedication to his club is an inspiration to us all. I wish him, his wife and his family well.
  12. Hear from Notts Women new signing, Evie Brooks.
