Then Notts should have given Junior a chance. Scott hasn't proved his fitness yet, so if Notts can't afford to pay for another striker, getting one in on a free while sending one out on loan doesn't make much sense.

I'm really sad to see Junior go. He should have been given more opportunities. Notts have a brilliant midfield and wingers that give our strikers plenty of chances. I'm sure that Junior would have been successful if he had been given a run.. There's probably more to it than we know I think. How do we know that a new striker will be any better than Junior, unless Notts are prepared to pay money for one Then the question is, why did they allow Macaulay to go?

Senior Squad is now down to 20 players again, We certainly need an incoming striker now. Hope that Notts have one in the pipeline. A Squad of just 20 is nor big enough. Stockport, Wrexham & Mansfield proved that last season with their big squads.

Unfortunately the match ends in a 5-1 defeat today up at Moor Farm against a good Derby side, Zac Denman with the goal for Notts. Fantastic again to see 15 year olds Ashton Shaw and Kameron Muir getting minutes!

Maynard needs to start thinking about playing what he believes is his strongest team for a big part of the match now. In my opinion what I see as his strongest team is. Bass, Macari Platt, Bedeau, Robertson, Edwards, Crowley Nemane, Jones, Scott Jatta. Subs, Didzy, Austin, Palmer, Slocombe, McDonald, Gordon, Reynolds Tsaroulla has injury doubts, Palmer may not be match fit so Edwards plays in his place. I've included Reynolds on the subs bench. He deserves it. There may be some trialists that Stuart wants to play, but I'm sure Stuart should be able to judge trialists from the training ground. Notts should be treating this match seriously to keep a clean sheet and score some goals

Macca was just rated as five when he came on against Forest. He needs to be in the starting line up if he is going to impress.
