  1. Agree. I think today was our best defensive performance of the season. I know we lost, but that performance gives me optimism that we can secure a playoff space.
  2. I think we will make the playoffs but the automatics are too far for us now. Defence much more solid. Should have at least drawn that game.
  3. Final score Panthers 4 Blaze 5. Blaze get the Overtime Goal to win. One point for Panthers for the 4:4 draw at end of normal time.
  4. A mild start to Sunday for all away from the far north, but also widely cloudy and grey
  5. Weather for Saturday evening.
  6. Dissapointing result but we deserved a point, and we should have had what was a clear penalty commited against Macca. We hit the woodwork twice and one appeared to be over the line, plus other missed chances. Jodi Jones will be black and blue because of the treatment he received during this game from the opposition. They obviously targeted him. It was a much better defensive display. Warner looked composed and is a good addition to our back line, Robertson played well too. We have certainly improved in defence. Pity about the early concession what proved to be the winning goal for Mansfield, but with other results around the playoff area going for us we remain in the mix for the playoffs.. Still very optimistic for our chances. Another week to work on putting things right then it's Gillingham on Friday.
  7. Line up for Panthers tonight against Coventry Blaze.
  8. Stuart makes one change Warner in for Brindley. Mansfield v Notts
  9. It's Match day Mansfield v Notts.
  10. @FozzyI agree that Brindley should be rested for this game.
  11. Milder but cloudy for most, Sunnier but windy in the North.
  12. The Nottingham Panthers and Nottingham Arena are proud to unveil a commemorative plaque in memory of Adam Johnson.
  13. The Nottingham Panthers v Coventry Blaze: Saturday evening, Motorpoint Area.
  14. Cloudy afternoon with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle.
  15. A mild but cloudy start across the UK on Friday.
  16. For me it shouldn't be on win percentage, I believe it should be judged by your success by getting promoted & winning Cups. If it were judged purely on that my choice would be. 1 Jimmy Sirrel. 2 Neil Warnock . 3 Tom Harris. FA Cup Winner. 4 Albert Fisher. 5 Eric Houghton. 6 Horace Henshall. 7 Sam Allardyce. 8 Frank Hill. 9 Steve Cotterill. 10 Howard Kendall.
  17. In an ideal World I would love our Club to own the land that our Stadium stands on, however the main focus of Notts owners should be to get Notts into the championship, and to use any spare capital to acquire players that will get us there. We have a Stadium large enough for the Championship. Once we are a established Championship club, then look to buy the land, only if the owners feel it's worthwhile to do so.
  18. Cloudier and windier this evening as we move into Friday.
  19. I used to disapprove of Organ transplants, then I had a change of heart.
  20. A bright morning for many areas on Thursday but it will be quite chilly, with frost in places at first.
  21. Remember they have six defenders injured and two more players will be unavailable due to red cards. Even so they will be tough, but I have a feeling we won't be playing ping pong football under Stuart. I think those days are gone hopefully. Mansfield have a strong midfield so we need to match them there and be solid in defence. A draw would do.
  22. A brighter day is on the way for Thursday. Hazy sunshine for most with cloud thickening later.
