  1. Nottingham Panthers in action this evening. Manchester Storm v Panthers, face off 5:30pm. Team news follows.
  2. There as been a new provisional UK Jan daily max temperature record of 19.6C in the UK today.
  3. I suppose @Fan of Big Tone @DangerousSausage & @KB1862 another conundrum for Stuart would be looking into the balance of the current side. Can I even mention it, Langstaff, Didzy in the same side? We have Langstaff up front with Didzy supporting. I know we've gone up a level, however Langstaff supported by Rodriguez ( now replaced by Cowley) and Bostock seemed more fluent to me. Is there room for a two striker force like Didzy & Langstaff playing together, or should we enforce the midfield & rest one of them, especially away fro home?
  4. 17deg recorded in Scotland. That is something in January.
  5. Weather for this afternoon. Dry and Mild with sunny spells for most.
  6. Nottingham Panthers Head Coach Jonathan Paredes gives his reaction to this exciting match between two great rivals tonight.
  7. Weather for Sunday morning. Increasing amounts of bright spells across the Country
  8. One of the best performances of the season sees the Panthers just come up short against the league leaders, but they can be proud of this performance and take confidence from it.
  9. Goal Panthers, Hugo Roy: 1:2 v Steelers
  10. Jodi and Aaron combining for our equaliser today.
  11. Going out this evening, it will be largely dry, feeling a little chilly in the east.
  12. I'm pleased with a draw today. A reasonable start for Stuart as Head Coach. Barrow are a well drilled physical side are not where they are in the league for nothing, they are hard to break down and have one of the best defences in the league. I would have taken a draw at the start and due to the results above us, the draw hasn't worked out two bad for us.As for the game, our first 15 minutes was poor, we could have been 2:0 down but we improved after that, Jodi did what he has been doing for us week after week by his assist for our equaliser and Aaron has found his scoring boots with 5 goals in 5 matches In the second half we looked the better side without really creating a lot. Some of Barrow's challenges went unpunished and the synical foul on Jodi should have seen a red card. Didn't see any real changes in our shape, that will come with time, but the all round performance today was better, including our defence. On to Mansfield for our next game.
  13. Team news for tonight's match between Panthers and Steelers.
  14. So looking forward to this game, we know the negatives and we know the positives, if Stuart's plan today cuts down on the negatives we can beat anyone in this league. It won't be long now.
  15. Should be good weather for the match this afternoon, with a good crowd expected too. Great weather, great atmosphere.
  16. Disruption of TV signals could happen today due to atmospheric conditions
  17. Match day. Panthers v Sheffield Steelers. Elite League, Motorpoint Arena. 7pm. Looks like it's going to be a sellout tonight for the fiercest rivalry in British Ice Hockey.
  18. A chilly start to Saturday morning.
  19. I am looking forward to looking at the tactical changes and possible change of shape for the Barrow Match later today. I'm sure there will be lots to talk about afterwards.
