The Nottingham Forest forward is now in an induced coma after surgery on a stomach injury after he collided with a post in Sundays match against Leicester. It was only a matter of time before a player was seriously injured due to the stupid off side rule that means the assistant referee can’t put their flag up early. My thoughts are with him I hope he pulls through.

Morning all and happy Wednesday. I was really pleased with the dentist yesterday she took one look at the broken tooth and said that she could repair it, which she did there and then with no fuss and best of all no needle, I thought that I’d have to have it out eventually because a big chunk had broken off so it was a real bonus to not only keep it but now it’s good as new. Today we are going for a walk along the river, it should be nice in the sunshine have a lovely day everyone.

I’m glad you’ve brought that up @DangerousSausage yes I saw that too the goal should never have been allowed and the players should have been appealing vociferously, I don’t like to see players surrounding the ref but other teams do it to our disadvantage.

Well there will be plenty of people who will say they don’t care because he’s left Notts and is no longer our concern, however I am not one of those people, I always keep tabs on former players especially fans favourites like Macca, I hope he can resurrect his career if not with Millwall then another club or even Notts if we were lucky enough to get him back.

Good morning, happy Tuesday, though not so happy for me, I’ve got a dentist appointment at 11am for a check up, I’ve got a broken tooth on the top but I’m going to tell the de gist to leave it as it’s causing me no problems at present I don’t want to lose it as I’ve already got several missing on the top and it would mean forking out for a new partial denture. Morning all, it’s a new week and another sunny start. We had a nice bbq last night with the family when our son and DIL came to collect the kids after their weekend away. It was lovely having our grandchildren for the weekend but it’ll be nice to get back to normal this week. Today if I can summon up the energy I want to jet wash the path at the side of the house, I’m a bit worried about dirty water going on next doors property because it’s a bit lower than our property, they are very house proud and everything must be immaculate but they’re nice people so hopefully they’ll understand if they get a bit of seepage on their side. Whats everyone else up to today? @Piethagoram are you still travelling?

I still believe if the ref had given a free kick for the shirt pulling on Jatta just before his lunge then everything else wouldn’t have happened, he was clearly frustrated and there’s no excuse but if the ref had done his job we’d still have Jatta for the second leg

I’ve gone for David McGoldrick although I think quite a few players put in a good shift.

If the ref had given a foul when Jatta’s shirt was nearly ripped off his back what happened afterwards wouldn’t have happened and Jatta would be available for next week. I think the sense of injustice was the reason for the tackle and what followed, the ref was absolutely awful.

Morning all, I guess we are all a little deflated by yesterdays results, I’ve put my thoughts in the matchday thread. It’s another fine day here, we’ve got grandchildren until their mum and dad come home later today. Yesterday young Fred was entertaining us showing us his tricks on the skateboard, then he got his virtual reality goggles out which was hilarious watching him walk around the garden doing things which only he could see.

I don’t think Jattas card will be rescinded, he didn’t help himself with his shananigans as he went off, he’s not been in the best of form so I guess it’s a chance for Traore to shine, a bigger worry is McGoldricks injury will he be fit? Maynard said it looked like cramp but he had a ice bag after the match so I think it might be more than cramp, if he’s missing we’ll struggle in the second leg.

@gtownjohnno how prophetic was that, what are this weeks winning lottery numbers? We should have won that but we’ve still got a chance next week so let’s be positive.
