Good morning it’s a dull start here so far, it sounds like we might be in for a battering with storm Amy coming over the weekend, that’s something to look forward to NOT! @Piethagoram you seem to get around a lot with your camera, keep the photos coming I love seeing them, you should get some good ones this autumn they say the colours will be spectacular this year.

Well to be fair his majesty @Piethagoram always gets five stars.

The club are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. If there was no fans forum the fans would be saying there’s no communication etc., but when they do arrange one the fans say it’s all a waste of time etc. I honestly think some fans would rather moan and groan on social media than attend a face to face event. I won’t be going but then again I don’t find every opportunity to criticise the club. I’ll watch the video with interest though. No offence to anyone on here.

I’ve got to agree with everything you said there @Robbie the fringe players all gave a strong performance and this is great news for Notts, it shows what a strong squad we have with genuine competition for places in the starting 11. The players just need to keep up the performances consistently, it’ll be interesting to see Martin’s team selection for Saturday.

Nice one @Robbie who could ever forget Lee Hughes and that promotion season.

On Saturday Notts take on Oldham Athletic at Meadow Lane. How many links can we find between the two clubs? Owners, managers, players etc. I’ll start with Craig Dudley who played for Notts between 1996 and 1999 making 31 appearances and scoring 3 goals. After a few loan moves he signed for Oldham in 1999 and stayed until 2002, making 60 appearances and scoring 10 goals. How many more links can we find?

It was a good win for Notts although aided by the sending off but nevertheless there were some good performances. Luker, Hall, Bennett’s and Tsaroulla all did well and it was good to see Jarvis back, he was unlucky not to have scored a goal he had at least two good efforts. Let’s follow it up with a win against Oldham.

My advice would be to think very carefully what you want to do, whether it’s further education or going straight into the workplace, it’s a decision that could affect your whole future. I know it’s tempting to go into work and start earning money but personally I think further education is very important, you can’t have too many qualifications and in the long run it will pay off. However it’s a decision only you can make, good luck in whatever you choose.

@Chris did you mean NOT booed? I certainly wouldn’t boo him, he treated us to some great goals during his time at Notts.
