@Robbie I love travelling too but unlike you I have done more since turning 60 before that with a mortgage and kids to feed we never had the money, the furthest we went with the kids was France camping.
For my 60th birthday we had a cruise around the western Mediterranean it was supposed to be a one off but we loved it that much we’ve done 14 cruises now, visiting lots of countries including Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Canaries Islands, Malta, Gibraltar, Norway and Sweden. I didn’t fly until I was in my 60s.
Having said all that I love visiting places in this country too, Isle of Wight is a favourite, I love Scotland too.
