Mrs. T made a lovely veggie curry tonight, I washed it down with a pint of Hobgoblin Ruby Ale, they sell it in pint cans at Tesco, yes pint cans not 500 ml, so you get more for your money. Not decided whether to go to park run tomorrow, I’ll see how I feel. Night all. ????

Matchday parking
I usually park on the embankment but on Sunday there is an event so parking there won’t be an option. Any ideas of alternatives.

Mark Stallard: Notts County Fans the Backbone of a Promising League Campaign
I’ve got a lot of time for Mark Stallard he always tells it like it is and his analysis of the Shrewsbury match is no different, he’s quite right in being positive about the result we took a league one team to 90 minutes and we’re a match for them, the first half was brilliant, we need to take that positivity into Sundays match in front of a bumper crowd at the Lane.

@Robbie @super_ram My mum had glaucoma that left her practically blind and it’s hereditary so I get tested every year.

I went for my eye test the other day and she said my eyes haven’t changed for 4 years, which ain’t bad at our age @super_ram

@Robbie we bought a vax carpet cleaner after succumbing to a dreaded tv advert, we got a steam cleaner free with it, up to now we are quite impressed, it certainly got some dirty water in the tank after we’d finished we didn’t think the carpet was that bad. ????

Childhood Memories At The Seaside
Not yet @liampie but never say never, it’s certainly somewhere I’ve often thought of going to but never tried. Next year we are doing a round Britain cruise which will take in Southern Ireland, Northern Ireland, Liverpool, Edinburgh and a couple of Outer Hebrides Islands but sadly not Isle of Man.

Macaulay Langstaff Watch.
He just needs time to settle in I’m sure the goals will start to flow once he gets one.

Childhood Memories At The Seaside
I first went to the Isle of Wight aged 14 I think, I’ve been back loads of times with our children and then just me and Mrs, T when the kids had left home, we used to go quite a lot in our campervan, it’s a lovely place for a holiday, with it being on the south coast there’s usually good weather and the beaches are lovely golden sand.

Match Discussion: Game 2 - The Fishermen (H)
I think the line up E will depend on injuries but I expect he will pick his strongest side available, I’d put Jatta in from the start and have McGoldrick as a sub, it goes without saying that Bass needs to come back in goal. We need to be strong defensively like the Tranmere game and be patient in attack.

Opposition View: How Fleetwood Town’s New Signings Could Impact the Notts County Game
Thanks to Tom for his insights into Fleetwood, I’m hoping the home advantage will play in Notts favour, hopefully the nervousness that was apparent in some of the home games last season will have gone. I’m glad to hear they aren’t particularly strong going forward although they did have a good result against West Brom so they’ll be confident.

Managing Expectations with Notts
When you’ve watched Notts for as long as I have you learn to limit your expectations, I think these days fans expectations seem to be far higher than they were years ago, if Notts lose a few games then the manager should be sacked and we are going to be relegated, if we win a few on the trot we are going to be champions and the managers name rings round the ground. I’m happy just to take each game as it comes and if we are good enough success will come. I do think we’ve got the best owners we’ve had for quite some time and with that in mind I expect things to slowly progress on and off the field.

Childhood Memories At The Seaside
@Blake I couldn’t agree more, we went to Bridlington and it was full of stag and hen parties getting tanked up on booze and spoiling it for ordinary families, it’s a shame when that happens.
