@liampie we had a chip pie tea tonight we considered dining in the restaurant but decided to have a takeaway instead, the portions are enormous we could and should have probably had one between us and be well fed but we struggled though and managed to eat most of it bar a few chips.

I don’t enjoy sitting watching football in the cold at all, although if it’s an exciting game it makes it more bearable. The older I get the more I feel the cold so I’m not a fan of winter.

Mcorning all, it’s raining here in Norfolk I hope the snow isn’t too bad back home and @Robbie got his food delivery. We had a nice afternoon out yesterday, we drove to Hunstanton and had a browse around the shops, I bought a jigsaw mat/carrier in a charity shop for a bargain £5, I’ll be able to do my jigsaws on it and then pack it away, at the moment I do them on the table then put the table cloth over it when we have a meal. Hunstanton is a lovely small seaside town which is largely unspoilt and uncommercialised, as different again to Skeggy just across the Wash. Later Mrs. T cooked a lovely Kedgeree which is a dish which consists of rice, smoked haddock and hard boiled eggs flavoured with mild curry, it was delicious. Today it’s forecast to rain most of the day so we’ll have a drive to the Norfolk lavender farm and have a browse round for Christmas gifts.

No snow in Norfolk just rain.

The thing is these sort of headlines sell papers or generate clicks so they can display their adverts that pop up all over the place. I never click on a Nottingham Post link or Nottingham live the stories are so hard to read while adverts are popping up and if you do manage to negotiate your way round the ads the stories aren’t worth reading anyway.

Good morning, another week dawns, we have a sunny cold day in store so we are going to have a drive down the coast to have a look at some of the other resorts in the area, we’ll grab a bit of lunch while out and then some food shopping before heading back to hunker down. Rain is forecast this evening so we won’t be going far unless it’s to the pub round the corner. Whats everyone else up to?

Far too early to talk about mince pies, it’s still November for goodness sake! Mrs. T makes ours along with sausage rolls the week before Christmas, she freezes some uncooked ones and cooks them as and when needed so they are fresh.

Typical newspaper scaremongering with sensationalised headlines, what’s the betting it’s just either a light flurry or just sleet. I’m ready to eat my hat if Nottingham is cut off with a 15 hour snow storm and no power.

@super_ram thanks for reminding me about the England match I’d have missed that. Stew sounds nice, that’ll warm you up. We’ve just got back from our walk, by gum its bracing on the front, I’m glad we’ve brought plenty of warm clothes. We’re off to the pub soon for Sunday Lunch, it’s a brilliant real ale pub just round the corner from our rented cottage.

Good morning it’s a beautiful sunny day here in Norfolk but I suspect it’s a tad chilly, we haven’t ventured out yet. Today we are going to have a walk through the village to the sea front and have a little walk along the front but we need to be back for 1pm for our pub Sunday lunch so I need to shake a leg and get moving.
