Yes I agree @Wheelbarrow repair man Jim really is a legend for Notts, of all the players leaving his departure makes me saddest, he never failed to give 100% on the pitch and his influence on and off the pitch will I’m sure be missed by all at the club. A lovely farewell message from him what a star.

As @Chris has mention Bostock didn’t quite seem the same player after Matty was injured. I love his farewell message that’s real class, thanks for everything John and good luck wherever you career path takes you.

Morias has never been given a proper run in the side but I suppose that’s understandable given the quality we have up front.

Congrats to @ARLukomski on winning and to the runners up. From a personal point of view I’m disappointed at my performance towards the end of the season, a bit like Notts really. I’m also gutted I didn’t finish above @super_ram my fierce rival. Well done you old sod. Finally a massive thank you to @DangerousSausage for all the hard work you put in so that we can enjoy this competition, it’s great fun.

Looks like a massive rebuilding of the squad, out with the old and in with the new, it’s pretty ruthless but I agree with most of it, really sad to see Jim go though. It should be an interesting summer.

I’ll probably be paying to see Notts on a match by match basis again, I really can’t commit to attending every home game because I’m very often going away, plus the night matches in winter are sometimes too cold for me.

To be honest I take very little notice of things that are posted on social media, I find that people on this forum have a more balanced view, let’s face it these same fans will be singing his name if we win the first game of the season. Fickle, fickle, fickle.

I can’t read the article unless I pay but I get the gist, it’s a real shame we didn’t land him he could have made all the difference but surely we had back up plans? As you say they may have been unachievable but if you can’t get Player A move to Player B and so on until you’ve solved the problem that was clear to see in the defence.
